1. De Lorenzo Instant Illumin8 Blonde Toning Shampoo, $23.95.
"I had my blonde refreshed recently and despite my best efforts to describe that I wanted a cool tone blonde, I left with a very warm head of foils. Never fear - this HEAVY DUTY (seriously - you need to wear gloves) purple shampoo is here. This stuff is amazing, I've never found such an effective toning product... but be careful of staining your hands and tiles." - Lucy Neville, Executive Assistant.
2. ESSANO Intense Hydration Concentrated Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, $24.99.
"Look, this is just a brilliant, affordable hyaluronic acid serum you can afford to slather over your dehydrated decolletage too." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
3. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Lip Pop, $35.
"This is just one of the many, many tinted lip balms I have on rotation. This one smells incredible and gives an awesome bright pink tint that stays on your lips even once the moisture has run out." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
4. The Jojoba Company Jojoba Water Toning Mist, $19.95.
"This new mist does all the good things. It's proven to increase hydration by 25 per cent, decrease large pores by 44 per cent, improve firmness and give you that glow factor, plus it's got vitamin A, D, E, essential fatty acids, omega 6 and 9 and is both vegan and cruelty-free. I could keep on typing but for less than 20 bucks, do I need to?" - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.
5. Revlon Photoready Candid Glow Foundation, $24.95.
"This new foundation literally just launched and it's for everyone who wants a light coverage foundation with built-in glow. So comfortable to wear, easy to apply and a luminous finish that lasts all day (with a bit of help from a setting powder). It looks like a good night’s sleep in a tube." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
6. Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder in Photo Ready, $16.99.
"You should know the Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder in the shade Photo Ready is a very, very close dupe for the Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Powder in Mood Light ($73). Yes, the Hourglass product is a creamier powder that glides on like fairy dust, but the Models Prefer dupe delivers a spookily similar effect at a quarter of the price. Even less when it's on sale. Dust it all over your face and watch as it's transformed into a glowy, beautiful being lit by the moon and the stars." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
7. KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Everlasting Blush, $37.
"Be warned: This blush has very good staying power and lasts from when you apply it, to when you take it off. It's also very pigmented - all you need is one tap per cheek. I have the peachy-pink shade Foxglove, which is super flattering for those with warmer or olive complexions and doubles as an eyeshadow. Score." - Jess Wang, Lifestyle Writer.
"P.S. Amy here, I've been using this one too in the shade Honeysuckle, it's amazing."
8. FENTY BEAUTY Snap Shadows Eyeshadow Palette in Peach (5), $39.
"I’ve tried a couple of these new Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows palettes, dubbed so because you can snap two together for twice the shade options, and they're everything a good eye shadow palette should be. Great pigment. Good staying power. No fall-out. But it wasn’t until I opened up the number 5 Peach palette that I truly fell in love. All the palettes have six shades, and this one features three warm shimmer shades and three peach matte shades that work so well with my fair, warm colouring. I’m completely transfixed with the golden, pink, iridescent shade called Bellini Baby (top left)." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
9. HOURGLASS Vanish Seamless Finish Liquid Concealer, $54.
"I was lucky enough to get this product back in December 2019 to trial ahead of the Feb 2020 launch date. If you love a high coverage, creamy concealer to cover EVERYTHING, this is it."- Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
10. MECCA MAX Dream Queen Eye and Face Palette, $38.
"The MECCA MAX Dream Queen Eye and Face Palette is one of my favourites! Great pigmentation and colours are easy to blend with each other to create lots of different looks - everything from natural day to glam dramatic night eyes. At first glance, you might think it's an eye shadow palette, but a cool feature of this palette is that it’s also highlighter, bronzer and blush! This makes it a multi-solution in your makeup kit and is great for travelling. I also loved that there was minimal fall-out of product from the brush. There’s nothing worse than doing your eyes and then realising you have eyeshadow dust all over your cheeks! - Sam McDonald, Senior Course Manager.
11. Natio Desert Sunset Cream Blush & Highlighter Palette, $21.95.
"My blush reawakening continues with this brand new cream palette from the chemist beauty brand of my youth, Natio. Both of the blush shades, inspired by an Aussie sunset, are gorgeous - I prefer the peach shade on me but the more vibrant coral would look incredible on darker skin tones. The texture of these creams is so easy to use for a natural, youthful, flushed finish. And the cream highlighter doesn’t really have a colour, it’s more of a clear sheen with shimmer that, again, looks so natural. Both last all day too, and can double as cream eyeshadows and a lip tint. Bloody bargain." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
12. Innisfree Glow Tint Lip Balm in shade 5, $12.
"Innisfree is known for their cheap as chips K-beauty face masks, but their makeup is spot on, too. I might shoot myself in the foot by saying this, but this $12 lip balm has the BEST pigment and colour pay off of any tinted lip balm I've tried. And I've tried a lot." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
13. SIMPLE as that Cleanser, $24.95.
"This cleanser smells like a bunch of fresh natives and is a delight to use. It's gentle and non-stripping which makes it perfect for a morning cleanser. I apply it like a micellar water and then rinse it off with water." - Jess Wang, Lifestyle Writer.
14. Damn Gina Signature Silk Hair Turban, $54.95.
"I love wearing this silk hair cap to bed. I find it works a lot better for my hair and helps with frizz. I have used silk pillowcases for a while now, but still feel that even that friction can cause a lot of frizz. I don't have to wash and reset curls as often and as a result, my hair is a lot healthier!" - Kee Reece, Brand and Influencer Manager.
15. Clarins Joli Blush in 07 Cheeky Peach, $45.
"This new blush from Clarins is a luxe fine powder that stays on all day and gives the skin just a touch of shimmer. It comes with a little flat brush but I swirl it on with my bronzer brush because it’s easier. I’ve been drawn to the burnt orange/peach shade - the other day, I wore it on my cheeks and as a bright eyeshadow because why the heck not? The packaging is also gorgeous. It reminds me of the compacts I used to steal from my nan’s glam beauty stash when I was a kid." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
16. Carmex Moisture Plus Hydrating Lip Tint Coral-Me Cool, $8.99.
"This tiny tube of tinted lip balm is a winner. It's very creamy, glides on easily and keeps your lips hydrated. The colour is also sheer enough to not have to worry about maintaining it throughout the day, but pigmented enough to feel like you've got a lip on. Leigh Campbell loves the nude shade, I love the coral one!" - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
17. DAILY NATURALS Satin Ends Sealer, $17.99.
"This is hands down the MVP in my beauty arsenal right now. You pop it on your ends in the shower and they come out so soft and shiny." - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.
18. Lanolips Baby Rose Gold 101 Ointment, $19.
"I have an obsession with Lanolips products. I use so many of their products already so when I tried this new lip and cheek tint I had high hopes. And, it definitely lived up to my expectations. It’s still the same thick lanolin formula but with a gorgeous warm berry tint that is stupidly easy to apply and looks great on." - Charlie Begg, Editorial Assistant.
19. REVOLUTION SKINCARE Hyaluronic Acid Overnight Hydrating Face Mask, $16.
"So, I need to talk about this $16 guy. Yep, you read that right, $16. Change from a lobster. The price of an overpriced sandwich. The amount kids get from the tooth fairy in Sydney. So hydrating." - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.
20. CAUDALIE Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser, $38.
20. "This month, Sephora held a huge media showcase of all the new brands and products hitting stores in 2020. This is the cleanser so many beauty editors were frothing over. It's a natural salicylic acid gel-to-foam cleanser that minimises pores, blemishes and oil, without making your skin dry and tight. A great one to use in your routine on its own to control breakouts and congestion." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
21. Biologi Bf Hydration Face & Body Serum, $72.
"$72 is a lot for a body moisturiser. But this body serum made me feel as smooth as a seal pup. It's incredible." - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.
22. Sukin SPF30 Sheer Touch Facial Sunscreen, $24.95.
"This product isn't new new, but since the mineral sunscreen launched late last year, I've turned to the tinted version when my skin isn't behaving well, but I still need SPF protection. It sinks into the skin nicely, and on a day off, is fine on it's own. If I wanted to wear it to work, I'd add a setting powder to keep my face shine-free all day." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
23. Elucent Anti Ageing Body Moisturiser, 200ml for $24.99.
"Don't be put off by the daggy packaging. This is a great body moisturiser if you want to get rid of keratosis pilaris (chicken skin or dots on the backs of your arms), scaly legs or patchy fake tan. The light gel formula contains 12 per cent lactic and glycolic acid to eat away dead skin cells, and has a non-offensive smell." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
24. BALI BODY Highlighter Stick in Moonlit, $29.95.
"This product just launched and it's wonderful. Yes, there are a lot of highlighters out there. This one is a liquid illuminator that comes in a lip gloss tube with a doe foot applicator so you can literally swipe it on your face and tap into the skin. I like this rose gold, bronzey shade as it looks the most natural." - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
25. YSL Rouge Volupté Rock'N Shine Lipsticks, $59.
"I've previously recommended a YSL tinted lip balm, but these are the newest lip products from the luxury beauty brand. The lipsticks are the most non-lipstick lipsticks ever. They glide on, are so creamy and hydrating with bold colour and just the right amount of shimmer, and they smell amazing. The packaging is also premium - the sparkly lids!" - Amy Clark, Senior Lifestyle Writer.
