Waleed Aly has some feelings please and he’d very much like to share them.
You see, The Project co-host is not impressed with Forbes Magazine’s decision to feature Kylie Jenner on its cover.
According to the publication, the youngest of the Kardashian clan is set to surpass Mark Zuckerberg as “the youngest ever self-made billionaire” by the time she turns 21 in August this year.
And Aly’s not… into it.
“So in what way is she self made?” Aly asked on Thursday night’s episode of The Project.
“She didn’t have a lemonade stall somewhere and build it up.”
Weirdly, Tommy Little then defended the reality TV star and accused Aly of “knocking her down because she’s young”.
“That’s not why I’m knocking her down,” Aly replied. “I’m knocking her down because she is part of an empire that doesn’t do anything.”
Little then replied, “Well, they make money” and touché.
thank you @Forbes for this article and the recognition. I’m so blessed to do what i love everyday. #KylieCosmetics pic.twitter.com/CRBwlBByk9

“So in what way is she self made?”
Well, she did pick out her nose, lips, cheekbones, boobs and butt.
Stop being so judgmental - it could have been one of those two for one coupon deals.
When Michael Jackson (RIP) was being interviewed and was basically being mocked for having cosmetic surgery, he said: if everyone in Hollywood who's had cosmetic surgery went on vacation, there'd be no-one left. Not one person.
There was a mother & daughter who were on 'Big Brother' together, who'd both had breast enlargements. That was the running line during the show: they'd got a 'two for the price of one' deal.
Maybe so. I think the likelihood gets exponentially higher with age, so you might expect CS to be less prevalent in the younger acting milieu.
I read an interesting article yesterday about how "values" like Jenner's supposed worth of $900 million dollars expose just how broken the financial system is.
There is no way her makeup company and her image combined are worth $900 million. It's a speculative figure, nothing more. Similar how Trump has spent his life saying he's worth so much while also doing his best to make sure there's no consistent metric to gauge his claim against.
I'm fairly sure it was Forbes that had an interesting article about that too recently actually (Trump's position on the annual "Rich List" and how he and his father should never have been on the list to begin with).
I'd hate to see how much she thinks she is worth if she ever appeared as a contestant on Shark Tank!
"I'm offering a 1% share in me for $100 billion investment."
Truth be told, she has done well for herself, and good luck to her.
Nonetheless, I would love to hear the pitch given for "why you should invest in my brand for 250 million and a 15% stake"
ummm tough call here, does your investment "in me" include bodily organs?
This is totally innocuous and off topic I know, but may I ask your diet and exercise regime or if you have ever used intravenous drugs or diagnosed with hypoglycemia in the last 10 years?
