It’s that time of the year again.
The Blockheads have descended on their latest project, Melbourne’s notorious Gatwick hotel.
There they found falling ceilings, discarded syringes, and rats – many, many dead rats.
They also found a safe, a Scotty Cam, and their first challenge – to design a children’s bedroom.
On Monday night the scores were tallied, and Sara and Hayden were named the winners of the first challenge.
Here’s a look at all the rooms:
Bianca and Carla, 22 points
Hans and Courtney, 19.5 points
Kerrie and Spence, 24.5 points
Norm and Jess, 20 points
Sara and Hayden, 25.5 points
Darren loved the room layout, while Shaynna was a big fan of the circus style bedhead.
However, not everyone was happy with the judge's choice, with some people expressing their disbelief on Twitter:
As the winners of the first challenge, Sara and Hayden got first pick of the apartments. They shocked their fellow contestants by choosing apartment three, which sits on the second floor of the building, rather than one of the penthouses.
They also got their challenge money back - but with a twist - they have to choose one of the other's teams to take their $10,000 off.
Kerrie and Spence - who found $150,000 in vouchers in the safe in their apartment - suggested the couple should take the $10,000 off them.
Until tomorrow night...
