The Spill: Wednesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Erm. The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew has just set the record straight about his day job.

Can you think of anything worse than thinking you’ve met an astrophysicist, but it turns out they’re actually a banker?

We can’t.*

*(We obviously can).

Well, as revealed yesterday, our new Bachelor Matt Agnew has been working at a bank, not in space as we’ve been led to believe.

Fans of the reality show were shook when The Sydney Morning Herald reported that 31-year-old Agnew was ~secretly~ working at the country's biggest bank, NAB.

“He’s been working as an analyst on secondment,” a source revealed to gaping mouths across the nation.

The Spill is Mamamia's daily entertainment podcast that catches you up on everything in entertainment and pop culture. It's snackable and perfect for your commute home. Post continues after audio.

So this morning, Agnew spoke to Kyle and Jackie O to set the record straight about it all. He owes it to the nation, after all.

Calling it a “ludicrous” speculation, he said: “Before I went in filming, I was working as an astrophysicist.”

“I was still employed as an astrophysicist during filming,” he continued.

But then, as he explains, he had a slight career shift and how dare he not tell us.

“I basically pivoted and moved into a position as a data scientist,” he said. “I started working with a data science consultancy called Quantium.

“In the two months that I’ve worked for them, I think I’ve had two, maybe three meetings at one of the NAB offices and that was sufficient to create the story that apparently I’m a banker.”

NOBODY PANIC. He's still a scientist.

Phew. That was a close one.

2. “I don’t know what we were thinking.” Jackie O on the time she was almost arrested.

Having Jane Seymour chase you out of her LA home threatening to call the police would be a strange turn of events while on holiday.

But, for Jackie O, it actually happened. All in the name of a radio prank.

The prank that went awry went down a number of years ago when Kyle and Jackie O were in Los Angeles.

“We were doing a star maps tour and we were seeing if we could knock on people’s homes and be let in by saying, ‘We’re here for an interview’,” Jackie O said.

“Nobody believed us, except for Jane Seymour.”

Seymour, star of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, while a little confused, was very accommodating.

She let Jackie into her home and made her a cup of tea, but then, as Jackie recalled, she started to become suspicious.

“She goes, ‘I don’t know anything about this’,” Jackie O recalled on KIIS FM this morning. “She starts making calls in front of us and then she starts getting angry and realising we’re lying. She’s furious.”

Jackie then texted Kyle, who was waiting in a getaway car parked out the front of Seymour’s house, to let him know their plan had been foiled and Seymour was threatening to call the cops, before bolting from the scene.

“I just remember you getting back in the car and you were very angry,” Kyle said.

“I almost got arrested,” Jackie O said. “I don’t know what we were thinking.”

Yeah... we don't really either.

3. Oh. Fans seriously think Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are getting married this weekend.

It would seem like the world's most influential 21-year-old is trolling us yet again.

According to a rogue photograph, Kylie Jenner and her long term partner, Travis Scott could be gearing up to say 'I do,' during their Italian holiday, which just happens to coincide with Kylie's 22nd birthday.

TMZ first sounded the bridal gong after they published exclusive photos of Jenner boarding a private plane with a white, feathery garment which looked like a wedding dress. The rumours pooled out from there.

However, TMZ did quote an unnamed source which confirmed the trip was definitely "not a wedding," as Kylie's sisters Kim and Khloe were not joining her on the trip.

Instead it'll just be a chill birthday spent jetting around a $250 million mega-yacht. Super relatable.

4. Apparently an original Queer Eye member wants to do an Australian spinoff with... Tim Robards.

Shamazing news everyone!

Original Queer Eye star, Jai Rodriguez says he would be open to doing a Queer Eye spinoff with former Bachelor Tim Robards, and we are frothing at the concept.

For anyone who doesn't remember, Jai was the Fab Five's 'Culture Vulture' and went on to appear in shows like Grey's Anatomy and Malibu Country, after his reality TV stint.

“I would love to come to Australia, again, and do a great show: Queer Eye with a Straight Guy. I have a really good friend named Tim Robards, he actually was a Bachelor,” he said, speaking to Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies on The Morning Show.

“I don’t want to make him over. But I thought we’re in a day now where we have fashion-forward guys. Tim and I could do makeovers.

"That's my little pitch Tim. I already texted you and you didn't get back to me an hour ago. So, now you're hearing it on television."

Now Jai, just so we're all on the same page, we consider this to hold the weight of a blood oath.

Jai was one of the original members of the iconic makeover series titled Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which ran from 2003 to 2007. The original team also featured Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, and Carson Kressley.

5. "It was like prison." A reality TV 'whistleblower' on what really happens behind-the-scenes.

A very mysterious reality TV contestant has spilled what really goes on behind-the-scenes, and well, it doesn’t sound good.

The man – whose identity wasn’t revealed and neither was the show he appeared on – spoke to Adelaide radio show Jodie & Soda about how the experience negatively impacted his life.

He was involved in a scandal during his reality TV stint, which resulted in him being evicted from the show.

Though unnamed, news.com.au reported the show he appeared on was one which aired on Australian TV for at least eight years.
