"It's a nightmare." Stephanie Pratt on the reality behind The Hills reboot.

We’re looking forward to our favourite noughties “reality” TV show’s return in 2019. But it seems the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings isn’t having the best time making it.

Stephanie Pratt, who joined the original MTV series in season three as Spencer Pratt’s little sister, told US Weekly that filming has been a “nightmare”.

“It was really fun at first, and now it’s like a nightmare,” the now 32-year-old told the publication.

“There’s a big divide.”

“You know, the stakes are a lot higher. We’ve got couples who are married with kids. It’s not kind of just like, ‘Oh, you cheated at the bar.’ This is way more life-changing kind of stuff.

“I’m scared for everyone. And for myself. It’s going to be gnarly.”

Stephanie is back along with her brother and sister-in-law Heidi Montag, as well as Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port. Plus Brody Jenner and wife Kaitlynn Carter, Justin Bobby Brescia, Jason Wahler and Frankie Delgado. (Don't worry, we don't remember these last few people either.)

The OC actress Mischa Barton is also joining the cast - which is exciting, but also a little unsettling to anyone who remembers The Hill's predecessor Laguna Beach being marketed as "the real Orange County".

Sadly, the Laurens (Conrad, and Bosworth) won't be returning for the reboot. Nor will, Kristin Cavallari.

While there's little hope of seeing Lauren Conrad (who runs a successful lifestyle brand) on the show, we can cross our fingers for a crossover episode with Kristin Cavallari's own reality show 'Very Cavallari'.
