Got a text! Meet all the Islanders cast in Love Island UK 2024.

It’s about to be the season of brain rot and binge-watching, because Love Island UK is coming back and we could not be any more stoked about it.

The 2024 season is sure to be filled with hot dates, heads-turning and cringe-worthy talent show performances, so get ready to roll the tapes.

If you’re not familiar with Love Island, a dating show where singles are thrown into a villa and forced to decide to 'couple up' with their current partner or switch to someone new, there's 11 seasons already filmed for you to indulge in the lead up to this year (we'd recommend season four).

This year host Maya Jama will be back in all of her iconic cut-out dresses, and the new islanders will be back in the classic villa located in Majorca, Spain

However we do have some hints on the villa, which has undergone a luxurious makeover, including the steamy hideaway retreat with a neon sign that says ‘naughty vibes’.

How does Love Island work?

Love Island is a show where young singles are placed into a villa during summer and form connections with one another. They’re coupled up with another islander at the start and have to decide whether to stick with them or recouple with someone new (this is called having your head turned).

Islanders are regularly given the opportunity to recouple. They sleep in their couple and perform challenges together, but also face being voted off by fellow Islanders or the public if their connection doesn’t seem genuine or if one person is disliked. If so, they’ll be dumped from the villa.

The show also has an iconic ‘Casa Amore’ section, when the coupled-up Islanders are split in two and then offered a whole new batch of sexy singles to turn their heads. They must also face Bombshells, who come into the villa to test their connections.

At the end, there is one winner. They used to be able to choose to share the £50k ‘pot of gold’ prize money or to steal it - the final test to see if their connection was genuine. However, producers have cut this segment from the 2022 and 2023 series.
