@reannon It's on my list! Can't wait to check it out.
Yes!!! Sean Keenan for sure
I haven’t read ghosts yet!
As someone who doesn’t know much about dementia it was interesting to see it through the eyes of his family. My grandfather has just been diagnosed with early onset dementia so I appreciate all the coverage it gets
Agreed! It would make a completely different story though
I like that aspect
And on your earlier point, toxic masculinity makes such a complex and angry character that’s scarily common irl
I think men make a more realistic murderer
@Billi Fitzsimons Love that analysis
@Billi FitzsimonsI love a good shame driven motive. Particularly in men. That’s what makes it feel real to me
@eleanor So you should
What WOULD be a good reason to commit murder in your opinion?
@Clare Stephens Yep, my thoughts exactly. It wasn’t a graphic murder which kind makes sense
@suchperson I was thinking the same thing! I loved that it was set in Tasmania but would rank the plot a lil lower than the lost man
I found it felt a little different from the other Jane Harper’s I’ve read - but maybe just because of the starkly different setting.
Yes!! I love the Australian setting. Jane Harper is sooo good at that
Hey Billi and Em! Keen to hear what you guys think!
