Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's 'sh*t show' wedding controversy has escalated.

In the latest episode of How Not To Be A Nepo Baby with Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, there's more drama involving their April 2022 wedding.

And it might possibly be even wilder than the whole wedding dress saga. Here's what's going on.

The Nicola Peltz wedding planner drama, explained.

For some context, Peltz and Beckham got engaged in July 2020, and tied the knot in April 2022, during a three-day, approximately $5 million wedding.

The event took place at Peltz's family's $123 million, 44,000 square-foot mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, and there were over 500 guests in attendance.

To plan the big day(s), the Peltz family went through three wedding planners, two of whom couldn't cut it.

There was celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey, who orchestrated Ivanka Trump's wedding to Jared Kushner, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba from Plan Design Events (PDE), and Michelle Ragos, who they ended up using.

And now, Nicola's billionaire father, Nelson Peltz, is suing the wedding planners from PDE for refusing to return his $159,000 deposit.

"Nicola is a world-famous actress who has starred in blockbuster movies and television shows, including, among others, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Bates Motel and The Last Airbender," Nelson Peltz’s attorneys wrote in the lawsuit.

"The guest list included more than five hundred people, including numerous celebrities, athletes, dignitaries and other influential individuals, who travelled from all around the globe to attend.

"The celebrity of the wedding couple combined with the anticipated attendance of many high-profile guests required that the wedding planner had the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding event of the expected calibre and complexity."

PDE were hired six weeks before the wedding, after the Peltz family fired Preston Bailey. However, they only lasted nine days, as the planners allegedly couldn't handle the VIP guest list.

Text messages between PDE, Nicola and her father show there was a disagreement about whether race car driver Lewis Hamilton was attending.

One of the planners said she needed a drink after the discussion, which Peltz's attorneys are using as evidence to prove PDE were unprofessional and "abused alcohol".

"References to alcohol use and possible abuse were not unusual," the lawsuit read.

"Peltz had presented them with the opportunity of a lifetime - to have their names associated with the wedding of two world-famous celebrities, which would undoubtedly propel PDE into wedding planning stardom.

"In reality, however, it later became clear that PDE viewed this as an opportunity to take advantage of Peltz by making material misrepresentations on both their website and in person regarding their experience, expertise, and capability of planning the wedding."

The lawsuit claims the wedding planners failed to book a single wedding vendor, finalise agreements that the family had previously selected or attend meetings with them.

"Admitting that they lacked the skills to perform as promised, PDE recommended hiring an additional wedding planner."

Peltz is also suing the planners for legal fees.

Now, in the latest development, PDE has hit back with their own countersuit, calling Nelson Peltz a "billionaire bully".

They also attached hundreds of text exchanges between themselves, Nicola Peltz, her mother Claudia, and Brooklyn.

According to the lawsuit, Nicola and her mum were desperate to keep the reality of wedding planning hidden from Victoria Beckham.

They "insisted she could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son’s wedding, including any errors with the guest list".

In the text messages, Nicola asked PDE if there could be a "water aisle and matching water dance floor" and why the flowers were cream and not white.

Brooklyn Beckham rarely got involved, only chiming in when they started talking about the food.

For one of the three days, Brooklyn and Nicola planned on having a late night Wendy's food truck. (Nelson Peltz is the chairman of the fast-food chain.).

The aspiring chef said there should be a "Brooklyn burger" and "Nicola burger".

"We should do a Brooklyn burger. Like double or single burger and a Nicola burger which is no bun, and it’s lettuce instead of bun and meat for the girls," he wrote in the group chat.

"And normal fries, or like truffle fries."

He later insisted their Wendy's food truck should have "Frosties", and said how their security should handle paparazzi.

"We should ask the security at the wedding to get those guns that shoots a net because there’s probably gonna be drones," he said.

At one point, PDE claim Nelson Peltz wanted to cancel the entire wedding because it was a "sh*t show" but Claudia had allegedly "begged Nelson not to cancel the wedding because it would 'destroy' Nicola’s career".

Days later, Nicola left the group chat because she became frustrated over not getting accurate updates on guests RSVPing.

PDE were fired the next day.
