McDonalds to home deliver.

Fairfax media has revealed that fast-food chain restaurant McDonalds will begin trialling a home delivery service in Sydney on orders over $25. Having already started the project through soft launch in the North Parramatta Branch on the 27th of November, the McDelievery service will allow you to order everything from Big Macs through to MFlurrys and have them delivered to your doorstep.

However, as the suburbs surrounding North Parramatta include the second highest rates of adult obesity in the state, nutritionists are concerned that the McDelievery service will promote laziness and obesity.

When do people start taking responsibility for themselves? Getting Macca's home delivered isn't all that different from walking the few metres out of your front door to your car, driving to the closest drive thru and taking it home to eat - so I don't see how it's going to affect obesity levels.

I was going to say the same thing. Macdonalds is within a short walking distance no matter where you are. Extreme laziness. It's no wonder obesity is out of control.
