Eye cream is generally highly concentrated and packed full of all the good stuff to keep the delicate skin under your eyes hydrated and puff free. So why restrict the benefits to just your eyes?
Here are two ways to get your eye cream working for you that you probably hadn’t even considered.

1. The area above your top lip.
Just like your eyes, your lips, and the area just above them, are one of the first areas to show signs of ageing. I’m talking fine lines, dehydration and wrinkles.
This is especially the case if you’re a smoker and it’s because the skin under your eyes, as well as the skin around your lips is generally thinner and more lacking in oil glands than other areas of the skin.

Not only are eye creams highly moisturising, but they also target specific skin concerns with high concentrations of active ingredients.
You don’t need much product to make a difference. A small dab around the mouth area at night will give you the concentrated benefits you’re looking for.

I tried using my regular eye cream around my mouth and while I didn’t note any specific reduction in fine lines (I didn’t try it for long!) I did find that the area felt more hydrated than usual.
Lips
Winter can really wreak havoc on your lips, leaving you with sore, cracked smoochers.

So what do you do? Coat those puckers in wax-based ointments for weeks on end and sit around wondering why they're not getting any better.
