Chrissy Teigen on why you shouldn't ask women when they're having kids.

As soon as a woman is married, she’s fresh meat to rip into about having kids. Because, of course once a woman gets hitched she has to pop little people out straight away.

So now TV presenter, Chrissy Teigen has come out in defence of married women (especially those approaching, or in, their 30s). On the lifestyle talk show, FABlife Teigan heatedly told everyone to stop asking women when they’re having kids.

“I can’t imagine being that nosy, like, ‘When are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through, who knows if somebody’s struggling?" She said on the show.

The 29-year-old told the show that now she's almost 30 she is constantly asked about her future plans to start a family.

Teigen met her 36-year-old husband, John Legend almost 10 years ago, and she says two years in to marriage she started getting questions thrown at her from all directions. She said it was 'crazy'.

“I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process," she said on FABlife.

The couple were married in 2013. Since their wedding they have been to fertility doctors to help them conceiveyet , but have not been successful.

The American personality has said in the past that she really wants a big family. She wants lots of kids. So for now, it's really hard to answer questions about why she hasn't had any yet and when she thinks she'll have them.

Former Top Model, Tyra Banks also spoke on the show about her struggle to fall pregnant. Banks teared up talking about how hard it was to want kids and not be able to have them.

“When I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself, in three years, you’re going to have kids. Then I turned 24,and I said in three years....and then just every single year I kept saying that. And after a while, it’s like, Okay, I want to, but it’s not so easy," she said through tears.

The conversation shed light on the fact that many women struggle with infertility.

The point is: stop asking women about future family plans.

If a woman wants a family but can't make one, the last thing they need is someone asking them why it hasn't happened yet. It's like rubbing salt in to wounds.

We wish Teigen and Banks the best of luck in their future, and their family life.
