People in Australia’s most cheating suburbs will be nervous today after hackers reportedly released sensitive customer data held by infamous cheating site Ashley Madison onto the dark web.
The data includes e-mails, credit card and other payment transactions, and follows a threat made by hackers known as The Impact Team in July, which said:
“Avid Life Media has been instructed to take Ashley Madison and Established Men offline permanently in all forms, or we will release all customer records, including profiles with all the customers’ secret sexual fantasies and matching credit card transactions, real names and addresses, and employee documents and emails.
Almost 40 million people could have their most intimate details exposed.
