This woman's hack for removing a deodorant cap has left people very, very confused.

You see, here at Mamamia we love a good life hack.

We also love a bad hack.

And this is the most ridiculous and unnecessary hack we’ve ever come across.

Recently a woman shared a “hack” on Facebook. The “hack” was about how to remove the plastic cap off roll-on deodorants.

In a 30 second clip, the woman explained that instead of trying to pop or pry the cap off, you should roll the deodorant up so you can easily remove the cap.

YES THIS IS A THING THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Of course, this being 2018, the video quickly went viral with many people asking why, why and also WHY?

“I can see her next video now: hey y’all did you know the milk goes IN the cereal?” one person commented.

“Next they’re going to start putting labels on spoons telling you which end to hold and which end is used to scoop food with since common sense isn’t advanced enough to figure simple sh*t like this out these days,” added someone else.

“Ain’t nobody got time for that!! Two teeth, one pull, OFF, smear on each pit, top back on! In that EXACT order! Done deal! I shall continue it my way,” someone else commented.
