It feels like just yesterday when we turned on our tellies and watched The Bachelor for the first time.
But alas, it's been a while since we first tuned in to see the love story between Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich unfold and a lot of other love stories have since come... and gone.
This made us curious to know where some of the biggest Bachelor and Bachelorette stars are in 2023.
Watch: First Date with Sam Wood. Post continues after video.
It turns out there's been quite a few marriages, new relationships, fresh breakups and even a few (or rather, A LOT) of Bachie babies.
Here's where some of the biggest Bachie stars are now.
Keira Maguire
Keira Maguire had a successful career following a turbulent ride on Richie Strahan's season of The Bachelor in 2016.
Back then, Keira was edited as 'the villain' of the season and was later eliminated from the show ahead of a rose ceremony. The following year, she was on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
And in 2018, she returned to the Bachie franchise for the first season of Bachelor in Paradise, where she won the heart of Jarrod Woodgate from Sophie Monk's season of The Bachelorette.
The pair dated on and off for more than a year before calling it quits. She also appeared on the latest season of Paradise but ended up walking away from the show before the finale.
This year, Keira was required to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court (via video link) after admitting to an assault involving a glass at a Melbourne bar.
According to reports, the reality TV contestant admitted to one count of recklessly causing injury.
Keira's lawyer, Zarah Garde-Wilson, said the situation unfolded during a “very heated moment” when the reality star happened to have a glass in her hand.
"She’s extremely embarrassed," her lawyer said. "It’s entirely out of character for her."
Glenn Smith
Glenn might not have been the most memorable contestant on Angie Kent's season of The Bachelorette in 2019, but he quickly became one to remember when he went on season three of Bachelor in Paradise in 2020.
And that's because it's where he met Alisha Aitken-Radburn, who competed on The Bachelor in 2018.
The pair left the show as a couple and announced their engagement later in October 2021.
In April, they tied the knot in Western Australia.
These days, Glenn continues on with his career as a refrigeration mechanic while his wife Alisha is a published author of The Villain Edit — a memoir about reality TV and taking control of the narrative.
"The Villain Edit charts my journey through the smoke-and-mirrors worlds of politics, reality TV and social media. It reveals how the perceptions of others can rewrite the story of who we think we are and what we believe we are worth," she wrote on Instagram.
"I started writing the very first notes for this book sitting on a plane to Fiji for my third and final season of The Bachelor franchise. Over three years later it’s nearly out in the world. I can’t wait to share more of the process, it’s been both the biggest challenge and biggest joy."
Nick Cummins
Australia was falling in love with Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins right until the moment he didn't choose a winner on his season of The Bachelor.
Nick flew out his final two – Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman – over to New Caledonia, dumped them both and fled into the jungle, leaving viewers at home unsatisfied.
"Right now, I can't give 100 per cent to you. My head is very clouded. Right now, I'm a little bit lost," he told Hockley, after delivering a similar speech to Tieman.
However, five years later, Nick's life looks incredibly different. For starters, he is now in a committed relationship.
Oh, and he's a dad, too.
He went 'Instagram official' with his girlfriend Alexandra George in April 2021. Eight months later, they announced they were expecting their first child. In 2022, they welcomed their son, Billy George Cummins.
"Becoming a parent is a game-changer. You realise all the immature things you thought were important actually mean nothing. All that matters is a smile on the kid's face and a happy, healthy family," he said to TV WEEK.
Nick is still in the reality TV world, but this time it is on his own terms. He previously had his own series called Meanwhile in Australia with Nick Cummins with National Geographic TV.
In 2020, he joined Schapelle Corby, Merrick Watts, Candice Warner and Roxy Jacenko on Channel Seven's SAS Australia. In 2023, he became the fourth contestant to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity.
Nick also has his own company called the Rogue Gentlemen's Club — a group-therapy business that provides excursions for men who want to unplug and reconnect with themselves and nature.
Sam Wood
Sam Wood won the hearts of Australia when he took on The Bachelor in 2015. He walked away with Snezana Markoski, who he married in 2018.
Eight years later, the pair are one of The Bachelor's most enduring love stories. "We met under such ridiculous circumstances," Sam told Now To Love in 2019.
"It was this crazy world which they [Snezana and Eve] uprooted everything and came to Melbourne to live with me, but now we're this family."
Together they share Eve, who Sam took on the role of raising when she was nine years old. She is now 18 years old.
The pair welcomed their second daughter Willow in October 2017, their third daughter Charlie in July 2019 and their youngest, Harper, in May 2022.
Sam is a successful investor and personal trainer who founded fitness centre Gecko Kids and in 2016, he also launched popular diet and fitness program 28 by Sam Wood.
In 2022, he sold the company for $71 million to myDNA, which provides personalised fitness and health plans based on the analysis of their DNA results.
Tim Robards
Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich met on the very first season of The Bachelor in 2013. Since then, they've been Australia's couple to watch.
When Anna went on the reality show, she was working as a high-profile criminal lawyer. Tim, on the other hand, was working as a chiropractor.
In 2015, the couple appeared on the first season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as intruders. Tim also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2015 and competed on Australian Ninja Warrior twice.
Anna has appeared on Trial By Kyle, as well as The Real Dirty Dancing.
In June 2018, the couple wed in Italy, making them the first couple from The Bachelor Australia franchise to get married.
In November 2020, the pair welcomed their daughter Elle, who is now two years old.
This year, they ventured on a solo trip to celebrate five years of marriage.
"Made it back to Puglia just in time for our five-year wedding anniversary and 10 years together," Tim wrote. "Time goes fast when you're having fun with the love of your life."
Mary Viturino
Mary became a fan favourite when she had a stint on astrophysicist Matt Agnew's season of The Bachelor in 2019.
She didn't find love there, but she did on Bachelor in Paradise in 2020 with Conor Canning. The pair are already parents to three daughters (the oldest from Mary's previous relationship): Chanel, Summer and Luna.
Early in July, they announced they are expecting again on Instagram.
Conor debuted on BIP as a non-Bachie contestant and previously told Mamamia he's excited to meet their new baby.
"Mary and I are over the moon to have another beautiful soul joining our family," he shared. "Being a dad to three amazing girls has been the biggest gift I could possibly ask for and has taught me so much, so I can’t wait to meet our new baby."
Aside from raising a family, the pair have kept busy as Conor mentors at-risk youth with JCP Youth, a Tasmanian-based charity.
Mary plans to return to university to study medicine following her pregnancy.
Holly Kingston (Nicholson)
Holly found love with Jimmy Nicholson on his season of The Bachelor in 2021.
Soon after meeting on the reality TV show, the pair moved in together and became engaged in 2022.
"You make anything we do incredible, and you light up any room you’re in. For me, love is getting home from a tough day of work together and cooking, it’s me leaving a note on your pillow when I know I’m not going to be there when I get home," Jimmy told Holly in the finale of The Bachelor.
"It’s having a fight, making up and growing from it and I can’t wait to experience all of these things with you... Hol, I want you to know that I am in love with you, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for both of us."
This weekend, the pair tied the knot in a private ceremony at Jimmy’s family home in Palm Beach.
Later, they had their reception at The Pasadena at Church Point, where guests were treated to a sit-down meal and speeches.
Sasha Mielczarek
Sasha Mielczarek didn't find love with Sam Frost on her season of The Bachelorette, but he did with Carly Cottam, who he hard-launched his relationship with in 2020.
Sasha rose to fame on The Bachelorette Australia in 2015, where he met and fell in love with Sam, but the pair split soon after.
Since their breakup, Sasha has largely remained out of the limelight, although he did announce on Instagram his wedding to Carly in July 2022 after the pair wed in Italy, surrounded by family and friends.
And on Sunday evening, the pair announced the birth of their daughter, Stevie Marie Mielczarek.
"Introducing the new love of our life, Stevie Marie Mielczarek (good luck spelling that my little angel). Born 01.08.2023 and already has more hair than Dad," wrote Sasha.
"To my amazing wife Carly, you continue to show me a resilience like no other and words can’t express how much I love you.
"I am in awe of everything you do and will be forever grateful for the sacrifices you have made for this family! Get ready for some baby posts."
