FLUFF: The last people we expected to do a weight loss ad.

Oh, great. This is just fabulous.

We’ve got skinny, perfectly in-proportion, healthy-weight women advertising weight loss products now. That’s where we’re at.

The twins from The Block, Lysandra and Alisa Fraser, are ambassadors for Lite ‘N’ Easy.

Yes, these two model-level gorgeous women. Advertising microwavable diet meals. On the television.

The super-fit twins, both of whom worked in the police force before competing on renovation show The Block, say they eat the low-cal meals because they’re “time-poor”. But Alisa also claims she’d put on some weight after the birth of her second son, right before the girls signed on for a second season of The Block.

Here they are, in a farcical TV commercial we like to call Skinny Women Spruik Diet Meals Because The World’s Gone Mad:

Anyone else find this ridiculous?

Don't knock it until you've tried it mamamia. I am 25 and a size 8. Having suffered from severe undiagnosed gastrointestinal issues for the last 10 years, it is the only 'diet' where I have experienced significantly improved health. My stomach can tolerate the food and I'm not running to the toilet all day. I think the food is tasty and good quality, I love the convenience of it and have shiny healthy hair and feel more energetic. Call it lazy but there's nothing wrong with that. I don't have to go grocery shopping or slave in the kitchen after a long day at work. I have rekindled my passion for cooking on special occasions. I hate articles like this that shame someone for their diet choices. It's no one else's business. "You're so skinny, you don't need to be on a diet" is not a compliment. Shame on you mamamia, good on the girls.

It's not just for weight loss it's for maintaining healthwhen you have a busy lifestyle too. Lots of women my size (10) think they can't take part in eating these types of products because they aren't overweight- well how do you think people get overweight! Because they don't maintain it! I'm thankful they are on the ad. How about they get Target to stock some size 10 clothing too.
