She may be a mess, but she sure knows how to keep us on our feet. Our favourite American in Paris returns to our screens this month and, as always, things promise to be très dramatic.

We may have seen Emily and Gabriel finally reunite in part one, but if history has taught us anything, Emily’s life is never that simple. So what’s next? This season, we’ll see her visit new cities and, dare I say, maybe throw a new beau in the mix? Regardless, we’re here for all of it.

Stream Emily in Paris Season 4: Part 2 on September 12, on Netflix.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice — and he doth appear! Thirty-six years after the events of the 1988 film Beetlejuice, the cast we know and love is coming home. Reprising their roles are Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and the queen herself, Catherine O’Hara, with big stars like Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe joining as the new kids on the block!

If you’re obsessed with the spooky vibes from the first film, you’ll be ecstatic to learn that Tim Burton is also returning to direct the sequel. So expect all the classic Burton-esque vibes!

Jenna Ortega plays Astrid, the rebellious teenage daughter of Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), whose life is turned upside down when the Deetz family returns home to Winter River and all chaos ensues.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice comes out in cinemas September 6.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.

Speak the name Kevin Hart and you know you’re in for a night of fun. Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist is an upcoming crime drama miniseries which follows a heist that occurs at an after-party, the same night Muhammad Ali returns to boxing in 1970. Who doesn’t love a good heist story?

And let me say, this show has a STACKED cast! Kevin Hart, Chloe Bailey, Lori Harvey, Don Cheadle, and Samuel L. Jackson to name a few. The series also marks the reunion of the great Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, who previously showed us what real chemistry looked like in the hit show, Empire and the 2005 film, Hustle and Flow.

There’s something so scrumptious about the combo of real estate and reality TV, and Selling Sunset cures that insatiable hunger for me every single time.

Featuring stunning million dollar mansions on view and chaotic arguments to boot, this season features some of our returning favourites as well as some newcomers to shake things up.

Selling Sunset will premiere on Netflix on September 4.

The Perfect Couple.

If there’s anything Nicole Kidman absolutely steals, it’s a thriller drama. We’ve seen her in Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers, The Beguiled, and now, she is starring in Netflix’s mystery drama, The Perfect Couple. For the mystery lovers out there, you are in for an absolute treat. The story takes place in Nantucket, where a lavish wedding culminates in the discovery of a dead body and now everyone is a suspect. Spooky.

Adapted from a 2018 novel by Elin Hilderbrand, this who-done-it is the perfect series to binge over the weekend. Note down your guesses now, because you are in for a ride!

Joker: Folie à Deux.

Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix are two names synonymous with intense dramatic performances. This month these two heavy hitters grace our screens as Harley Quinn and Joker in the much-awaited sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux

For those of you who have seen the first film, you’ll be as surprised as me to know that the upcoming sequel is actually a musical?

"Most of the music in the movie is really just dialogue," Director Todd Phillips told Variety. "It’s just Arthur not having the words to say what he wants to say, so he sings them instead."

Joker: Folie à Deux is opening in cinemas on October 4.

The Penguin.

Also within the realm of DC comic adaptations is another exciting addition, The Penguin. This HBO miniseries is a spin-off to 2022’s The Batman and follows Oswald Cobblepot in his journey to becoming Gotham’s most notorious gangster.

Starring Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti and Mark Strong, this new crime drama is gritty, dark and unveils the man behind the villain. If you watched The Batman, you’ll know what a physical transformation Farrell undergoes for this role — he is unrecognisable!

Stream The Penguin on September 19 on Binge.

His Three Daughters.

No movie list is complete without what I like to call a "quiet tearjerker". Netflix’s new film His Three Daughters is exactly that. Starring Carrie Coon, Natasha Lyonne, and Elizabeth Olsen, the film follows three estranged sisters who are forced to come together when their father’s health deteriorates.

There’s nothing quite like the challenges and bonds of sisterhood to really get you going. Grab a tissue box and expect frustration, laughter, and a lot of tears.

Stream His Three Daughters on Netflix on September 20.
