The end of The Block is upon us and we don't know how to feel about it.

While it may be the very last week, it's been anything but easy for the contestants who underwent yet another brutal challenge on The Block.

With just two and half hours left to go though, Jenny fell through the missing part of her deck.

"I just stepped straight down into nothing," she explained after having to leave the show. Thankfully, the pair were able to make it back in time for judging.

Foremen Keith and Dan also handed out their annual award to the best contestant on The Block and it went to Tom from House One.

In terms of finishing, Ankur and Sharon struggled due to their budgeting issues. Their chippie, Scott, leaving at 4:30pm on Friday for the last time didn't exactly help the couple either who reflected on the breakdown of their relationship with their building team with disappointment.

In saying that, every couple has had an incredible journey and by the time Scotty called tools down, everyone was emotional.

Without further ado – and for the final time this season – here are all the photos from The Block's backyard reveal:

Tom and Sarah-Jane.

Upon walking out into the front entrance of House One, the judges were floored and praised the couple who have worked tirelessly for weeks on their landscaping.

Neale loved the transition from the old to the new parts of the home.

"I just love it," he said. "The impact that it makes is just incredible."

Shaynna felt the connection between the old and the new was shown through "really subtle tones".

After going to the backyard, the judges loved the "sea of green" and praised the pair for not only creating an amazing property but an "amazing lifestyle" too.

"They have actually shown us how you live in this space," said Neale.

The pony pen, chicken coop, basketball court, pool, and par-three golf hole were zoned off well.

"They have just really nailed this haven't they," Darren noted.

After taking in the pool and the entertainment deck, Darren called it "mind-blowing".

"I stood back there and said Tom and Sarah-Jane had created a lifestyle. I was wrong," Neale admitted. "They've created a lifestyle resort."

Rachel and Ryan.

It's been an incredible effort from Rachel and Ryan who struck the judges with the colour choice of their home.

"[It] all works beautifully with the landscape," Neale said. "Nothing [is ajar] visually."

Shaynna felt the garden edging was wrong and should have been different to "guide the eye a little more".

The walls sconces were a little too low for Neale but as soon as he saw the vineyard, his mind was blown.

"It does have a real magic about it," he said.

However, Shaynna wasn't too much of a fan of the kid's swing. "I feel panic in all of this," she said. "It doesn't feel resolved."

Darren criticised the lack of stares and felt it was not kid-friendly.

However, the judges couldn't help but love the space. "[It's] every dream you ever had about living in the country," said Darren to which Neale responded: "It's heaven."

Neale felt that if House One is the Lifestyle Resort, then House Two is the Country Estate.

Ankur and Sharon.

Ankur and Sharon's front yard and the back garden were too unfinished to receive many positive comments, unfortunately, but the judges were sold on the magnificent view.

Concerns were raised by Shaynna who pointed out that the connection to the pool from the house was... non-existent.

"I'm imagining around the corner there are doors but there are no stairs," she said.

The judges also felt the pair were not selling a lifestyle with a pool as there was no barbeque or any other amenity that would make people want to hang out.

"This isn't a lifestyle sitting here at the moment," Shaynna noted. "I have no enticement to say 'wow that's the pool I'd like to hang at'."

Neale added that it felt "really undersold".

The location of the pool was "illogical" to the judges, with Shaynna saying it was very "poor planning". "It takes away from the majesty of this house and does not add value," she said.

Neale said the home would be a "renovator's delight" despite being a newly renovated home.

The front yard was incomplete but the judges' gravest concern was the entertainment space's location being near the garage instead of where the view is.

"Wouldn't you actually plan it for this to be at the view?" Shaynna asked. "This is really bad planning. Terrible, terrible planning."

The only redeeming factor was the couple's garden.

"It makes me sad," said Neale. "Because here I'm seeing a glimpse of what could have been. I'm seeing a little glimpse of joy and pleasure."

Dylan and Jenny.

"This is crazy," said Shaynna upon walking into House Four's backyard.

The traditional white home paired with the modern white build was described as "charming" by the judges who were thoroughly impressed with the layout of the couple's home.

But just like Rachel and Ryan, the judges did have some criticism for the pair as well and thought they should have turned their outside furniture on the patio to face the view.

"Having your back to the view is not [great]," Darren said, "All that needs to happen is [the sofa being turned] so that everyone gets the view."

Shaynna praised the design and layout of the yard, labelling it "glorious". Neale added that the landscaping showed Dylan and Jenny's "good intent".

The judges also felt the pair needed to add steps, but recognised it will probably come in later.

"I think what's incredible is... there is so much happiness and joy and excitement happening here," Shaynna said. "They're definitely selling the dream."

Omar and Oz.

Everywhere the judges looked in House Five's exterior was "stunning".

"This is very pretty," said Neale.

Walking down the path, the trio felt the path looked "very professionally landscaped". "This is well thought out," noted Shaynna. "This is a very beautiful garden to meander through."

Neale loved how the landscaping juxtaposed against the old house. "Look at the juxtaposition of the old and the new," he said. "It's particularly prevalent. That contrast between the two is just astonishing."

Darren thought the exterior of the houses is his favourite on the entire block, saying: "The two sit together so beautifully."

Neale thought House Five could be for an older buyer "wanting a different change of lifestyle rather than family lifestyle."

He went on to add: "We have never seen anything like this on The Block... Anything!"
