"I have been in tears tonight": A Bachelorette wants you to know that reality TV isn't really real.

Well I never…

In incredibly shocking news that no one has ever suspected before, a reality show contestant says she’s been unfairly and inaccurately portrayed on the show.

The Bachelor rose-aspirant Emily Simms, 31, has been watching the show’s progress with increasing horror – for different reasons to the rest of us.

Simms says the show’s producers have edited the episodes to portray her as the villain of the harem, when in actual fact she’s all sweetness and light. This is grossly unfair and unethical! Somebody call the authorities!

Simms employed the reality star’s chosen form of communication, shameless self-promotion Instagram, to set the record straight and respond to all them haters or something.

“I am going to do something I have been told not to do by people in the biz, and that is to be honest about how I feel. I always did it on the show, so I say, why stop now? I have always been very honest, ever since the moment I could speak. I could not be fake if I tried. I have one face, not two,” she wrote next to a picture of herself in a very honest evening dress.

“I have been in tears tonight, not because of the nasty things social media trolls are saying (I wonder if any of you would be brave enough to say it to my face?), but because I am a very sensitive, kind and loving person,” she wrote.

Simms continued that she’d been bullied in school for her appearance and that internet trolls’ abuse was bringing it all back to her.

“I could never be cruel to another person. I am nothing like a bitch. Reality shows decide the “characters” for each of us before they even start filming. This is well known about reality TV. So for my funny, joking, laughing at myself, silly side, to not be shown at all, is really very upsetting to me. Soooo many hours of footage, and all they choose to show of me is that I found Heather annoying.”

Simms says the worst thing about being on the show is that she’s realised how many “nasty, unintelligent people there are in the world”.

“What a sad world we live in. If you think you know me, and think I am a ‘bitch’, based on how a reality show is edited, then please, look ar the top of your screen and click ‘unfollow’.

#hatersgonnahate thank you so much to all of the beautiful messages I’ve received over the past few weeks. #love.”

Oh please. Unless the producers dubbed what she was saying, then she has definitely been bitching about others. It's clear she thinks she's fantastic and Sam (so far) has her pegged exactly. It's also clear she's there for her career, not love. Grow up Emily, you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. You got your face on TV, you should be grateful.

Does anyone else think she reminds them of someone? Whenever I watch her, I think of Eliza Dushku from Buffy the Vampire fame http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z...
