CTP insurance. And why it pays to have the good stuff.

We think it’s fair to say that if most people had it their way, they’d spend their hard-earned dollars on luxury beach holidays and expensive champagne.

But most of the time, life is not that kind. And instead of spending our money on boats and truffles, we spend most of it on the more mundane things like housing, tampons, socks and CTP insurance.

CTP Insurance is the ultimate grudge purchase; it’s the stuff no driver wants to buy, but every driver has to. So with that in mind, we want to make sure that you choose an insurance provider that’s going to protect your loved ones by providing compensation, to them if they are injured in an accident while passengers in your car, where you’re the at-fault driver.

Recently, we sent Mamamia contributor Jacqui Porter to speak to Shelly from Suncorp Insurance about why people need CTP Insurance and the cover that Suncorp provides.

What do you look for in a CTP Insurance provider?

Suncorp CTP Insurance is dedicated to protecting your loved ones by providing compensation to other people injured in an accident, where you’re the at-fault driver. To find out more, visit suncorp.com.au/familyctp

I also think third party property damage should also be compulsory. Honestly if you can't afford insurance then you can't afford the car!
