According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, an ambush began at a nearby pizza store, but moved to the Walmart as the situation escalated. A witness said that the couple yelled, “This is the start of a revolution,” before shooting the police officers.

Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill told reporters at a news conference, that the male shooter told “everyone to get out” in the Walmart before shooting, and that the man and the woman both then died.

An idiot is someone who does the same thing but expects a different result. Aka America and their gun laws. I am not surprised that these keep happening. It is horrible to think of all the innocent lives being lost yet people still believe that guns are necessary. I bet those gun lobbiests haven't experienced the loss of a loved one through gun violence.

What's to say? Another mass shooting, another day in the USA. I agree with fightofyourlife below. If the mass killing of an innocent bunch of 6 years in their own classroom at school isn't enough to make America wake up to itself, a few dead people in Walmart certainly isn't. If you have ever been on a website discussing the issue, you will see how absolutely rabid the gun-lovers are. The things they say are beyond appalling , and quite frankly, stupid. For e.g., teachers need to be armed. It's depressing and tragic but I have given up hope that anything will change over there.
