It’s official: Warnie and Liz Hurley’s on-again/off-again relationship is over.
Or as the fast-bowler himself put it:
“It’s a shame it’s all over and done but that’s the way it goes. I’m just a man doing the best I possibly can.”
And those recent shots of Shane and Liz together in London may have just been evidence of a sweet new friendship: “Yeah I’m going good, Liz and I are still friends, we catch up when we can.
This is the first time Warnie’s spoken directly to media about the split. Until now, he’s left it to the world’s gossip media to blatantly make stuff up about his romantic life.
The legendary cricketer told his mate, Today Show co-host Karl Stefanovic, that rumours about him hooking up with British millionaire Michelle Mone were not at all true. And they make him tired.
“It was absolute rubbish,” he said. “Mate it’s no one’s business but that is all absolute rubbish … I roll and yawn that’s it …”
English tabloid The Sun published the below “scoop” that 44-year-old Warne seduced Ms Mone just hours after spending Valentine’s Day with his former fiancee Elizabeth Hurley. Which, as it turns out, is just complete crap.
Turns out Shane Warne spent Valentine’s Day alone. Which is practically unbelievable, considering the sheer volume of half-naked selfies the man is putting out in the world. That, and the time he decided to have a pop career.
