Sam Worthington has been arrested for fighting and disorderly conduct outside an Atlanta bar on Saturday night.
The star was reportedly spotted outside an Atlanta bar and grill, carrying clothes and looking dishevelled in a dirty hoodie. TMZ reports onlookers thought he was, ‘a drunk homeless person’.
The incident occurred after Worthington, 36, was denied entrance to the Vortex Bar and Grill. According to the police report, the restaurant's doorman decided that Worthington was too drunk to come in, on top of the fact that he didn't have the required ID. The actor then got angry, pushing the doorman twice.
The bouncer used pepper-spray to subdue the Avatar star, who was heard to yell ‘I'm a DEA agent! You f**ked up now!’
We assume Sam must be converting to the method acting school as he will be playing a DEA agent an upcoming movie co-staring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Charges were dismissed in court on Monday morning after Link didn't show up to the hearing (though he claims that no one told him about the hearing in the first place). Worthington's manager has refused to comment on the incident. The actor will now presumably get back to his day job, playing a DEA agent on screen.
