Robert Irwin is the man of the moment.
The only son of Steve Irwin has just begun his hosting gig on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, stepping into the sizeable shoes of Dr Chris Brown, who departed the series last year. And he's doing a bang-up job so far.
Irwin is joined on the 2024 series by ultimate co-host Julia Morris and a bunch of (particularly rogue) celebs, who include Frankie Muniz, Stephen K Amos and Skye Wheatley.
As a TV host, conservationist and one of the 2023 GQ Men of the Year, the 20-year-old wears many hats (not all of them khaki). And to go with his many gigs, the recently single Australia Zoo co-owner also has one of the most random profiles we've ever encountered on Instagram.
Last year, he shared this very important Halloween photoshoot featuring his pug, Stella.
Clearly, Irwin loves to take the piss out of himself online. In another snap, he shared this childhood photo which is too precious:
But the wonderfully wholesome posts are balanced by what I can only categorise as... delightfully deranged.
Behold, some random statuses and various memorials to the world's Roberts — a move that's giving some real teen boy energy.
"Roberts of the world… a thread," Irwin shared.
Irwin is a big fan of sharing kooky videos of himself and the animals residing at Australia Zoo. In one video, he attempted to fraternise with a cool crew of kangaroos, but was brutally rejected. We've all been there. Better luck next time, Bobby!
Not one to let any trend pass him by, Irwin also jumped on the Barbie train last year, offering his best 'I'm Just Ken' rendition — and he did not disappoint.
While the keen conservationist loves to show his silly side, he does sometimes get a little... sartorial. And yes, we're here for that, too.
"Robert out of khaki… a rare sighting," he posted, showing off his non-camouflage threads.
Irwin established himself as a runway model earlier this year with his Melbourne Fashion Week debut, proving that the man can do it all.
That said, he's also a handy person to have around the house, given his affinity for animals. Get yourself a man who can do both: murder a runway and save a snake stuck in a vending machine (which... he did).
We're wishing Robert Irwin all the luck for his new I'm A Celeb gig... but please, keep the Instagram content coming.
