Rebecca Judd‘s daughter Billie is all ready for her first day of ballet lessons tomorrow – and she’s not letting a technicality like having her tutu on backwards stop her from practicing.
Rebecca posted an adorable photo along with a video of Billie dressed up for ballet on her Instagram this afternoon, and was hit with a storm of comments suggesting that Billie’s J’Aton Couture leotard was on back-to-front.
“The leotard is on backwards, the V is always at the front!” wrote one follower. “You know she has it on backwards, yes?” wrote another. “The gathered bit goes at the front!”
Far from taking offence, however, Rebecca jumped online to clarify the situation, saying, “She dressed herself – I tried to tell her!” And suddenly, every parent on Earth understood.
It seems little Billie’s turning into a trendsetter just like her mum – and hey, when your leotard bears the label of a world-famous designer, does it really matter which way you wear it?

Way OTT! Yes the lives of the rich and famous are very different, but naming this as a designer piece for a child seems bit showy (awaiting accusations of jealousy and tall poppy syndrome now....:P). I don't get the whole tagging your labels thing...probably to do with advertising but I'm sure Jaton would be doing just fine without it :P
feel sorry for the other kids in that class in a run of the mill leotard. not sure why you have to make a toddler a fashion statement. let them be a kid and not care about what they are wearing.
