Quentin Tarantino’s films have a lot of violence in them.

Fists, swords, guns, snakes, whips, ropes, cars: all these things have killed people in Tarantino films.

But what would the director himself choose, were he to require a weapon?

The Mamamia Team was at the Australian premiere of his latest film The Hateful Eight which hits cinemas across the country today.

We fought throngs of fans, even more reporters (and possibly even more publicists), sweaty palms and some pretty strict rules about how many questions we could ask to find out.

We were pretty sure Tarantino was going to choose a sword. We were wrong.
