I’ve been in your situation, twice , with my Dad.

He also chose to keep quiet. Which made me feel abandoned , to say the least. Hold your head up high and be civil when you have to encounter her, and leave it at that ! No joy to be found by letting people like that in your life. As long as you see your Dad and maintain that relationship is what is important.

I made a decision to protect my children from the negativity of a relative who was never going to be consistent in their life, and could not accept them as they are. I don’t regret doing so.

And then we have those lovely single men out there who do have the qualities , we, women , are seeking. They say that they feel “too nice” for some people and that’s not what they feel females are looking for in a guy. Nobody wins !

When I was doing year 12 in 1977 I had a dream about a very close friend that I told my friends about on the Monday morning in class.

Two days later I found out that she had died on that day. In the dream she was reaching out to

me… will never forget it or her. 💜🙏🏻

For years after each time something important was going to happen in my life, I would dream of her on the night before.

Still don’t really know how she died. 🥲
