Putting aside the rights or wrongs of her decision about the dog, how hypocritical and frankly ridiculous to scold her followers for "gossiping online" about her. She is the one who put herself and her family's life online for all to see and comment on! No one forced her to do that. You can't expect to be a "social influencer" and not have your followers to speculate about your life.

I don't understand what is stopping the author from setting up a bank account in her own name? Her husband doesn't need to give his permission or even know about it. Also - surely she had an account in her own name before she was married? Why wouldn't she keep that? How is it her pay is going into an account that is solely in her husband's name? Aren't there anti-fraud laws about that? So many questions!! Just hope she gets the help she needs.

Good lord... I'm not a parent but this just sounds insane. Does anyone really need or want a report on every poo their child does?? It sounds like childcare centres almost need full-time media/comms people now to take photos and complete all the reports expected!

My last year of school was in 2000, and it was definitely a big deal for both me and my parents. There weren't so many events they were included in though - I think just a farewell dinner and then the end of year prizegiving, which they came to every year anyway. It was more about us as a class creating those final memories together. I remember a lot of hugs and tears on the last day.... and I still have my shirt with all the signatures on it!
