@mrsb710 Thus, I'm not entirely sure that these parents are really doing their children the favour, or more doing themselves the favour by normalising their lifestyle of fluidity in gender identities, orientations and polyamory.
I think they are good parents, actually, as their children are clearly loved, respected, and well cared for.

We were raised with very forward-thinking parents, who read de Bono's Thinking Hat Theory, and put it into practice on a daily basis.
We were given gender-specific and gender-neutral toys, books, experiences, etc. Our clothes were somewhere between what we liked, what was practical, what was appropriate, and what could be made, or given as hand-me-downs. And mostly in the colours we chose.
Our parents refused to use they/them/it as pronouns, feeling that was derogatory or demeaning to us, and often used our names instead of pronouns, although we do all have gender-specific names.
Each of us grew up as compassionate individuals, strong willed, self-aware, and only one sibling of six ever demonstrated any confusion, but is trans-gendered, now post-operative.
