I reckon he's testing out the water in the UK before deciding whether to attend the Coronation.
Such a moving story and so important to share these injustices.
Just be glad she's gone!
I met my husband at the work. Got to know each other slowly, becoming friends then lovers. 33 years later he’s still the love of my life.
A close friend was telling me yesterday how relieved she was to see her 16 year old son grieving over Phillip Hughes's death - how Michael Clarke's tears gave him "permission" to react similarly. She also talked about her son putting his cricket bat out at the front of their house. This highlights to me the importance of such rituals in helping us cope with grief. Rituals, whether secular or religious, are what bind us together and can show us a way forward.
I think it would have been better slowed down just a bit.
