I would love to hear the other side to this story..
This was so hard to read because it is alarming that zero responsibility seems to be being taken, “no abuse to admit to or apologize for” I’m sorry but people don’t just cut their parents out of their life for fun. There has to be another side to this.
@pa bannister tell me you didn't even read the article without telling me.
@gypsy respectfully, if you're in your 60's then its likely your parents managed to buy a house for a fraction of the cost of what that costs now, and income has not risen on the same trajectory as house prices and cost of living has since then. it is no longer a viable option for most people to have one working parent and one stay at home, nor should it be.
where are the rest of the recaps?
@deanne.baxter Did you actually read the article?
@mamamia-user-893622181 this was my thought process too, also curious as to why the expenses for the kids falls entirely on her even though i assume they're his kids? Getting into debt for kids clothes seems like it could be easily avoided if he did the clothe shopping or contributed...
@gypsy did you even read the article?
@rush their current taps must be too hard for our lady brains to remember to turn off before we go out for a day of shopping before heading back to our rightful place in the kitchen
@anonymous we are absolutely not the only culture to experience sids.
