The 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony was basically Hollywood on the Seine, with the City of Light transforming into celebrity central as A-listers from around the globe descended on Paris, turning the Olympic kickoff into a glamorous affair.
From pop singers to silver screen heartthrobs, the famous river became an impromptu red carpet as celebs sailed by on boats, waving to fans and paparazzi.
Designer gowns, million-dollar smiles, and more selfie opportunities than a Kardashian family reunion – this Opening Ceremony had it all.
Take a look at which celebs we spotted at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony below.
Celine Dion.
The legendary singer performed 'L'Hymne à l'amour' from a platform in the Eiffel Tower.
Despite famously battling stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and spasms, Celine made a powerful and emotional comeback. It followed after she was previously forced to cancel the remaining dates of her Courage World Tour in May due to health struggles.
Diagnosed in 2022, Celine has been vocal about her debilitating condition and its effect on her vocals, detailing her journey and the challenges in her documentary I Am: Celine Dion.
Lady Gaga.
The multi-talented singer and actress brought her signature shock-and-awe style to the Seine, serving pure Parisian glamour with a twist as she gave a surprise performance of 'Mon Truc En Plume' by French singer Zizi Jeanmaire from the steps of the Seine.
Ariana Grande.
The pop sensation was looking très chic on the red carpet in a glamorous baby pink gown, mingling with stars such as her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
The model and cookbook author enjoyed the celebrations with her husband, singer John Legend, and their two eldest children, Miles and Luna.
Kelly Clarkson.
Kelly Clarkson is set to play a significant part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as she features as one of NBC's hosts for the games.
Baz Luhrmann and Anna Wintour.
The renowned Australian director and the editor-in-chief of Vogue made a stylish entrance with one another.
Serena Williams.
The tennis legend appeared in a stunning bright red dress. She also played a major role in the Opening Ceremony, being a special part of the Paris Olympics torch lighting.
Emma Chamberlain.
American internet personality Emma Chamberlain, who has worked with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Lancôme, unsurprisingly nailed her Parisian red carpet look at the Opening Ceremony.
Nina Dobrev and Shaun White.
The Vampire Diaries star and five-time Olympic Snowboarder Shaun White, who have been dating since 2019, turned heads on the red carpet in their matching Ralph Lauren gear.
