Media Release: Kylie Rogers joins the Mamamia Digital Network

Mamamia Digital Network CEO, Jason Lavigne, today announced the appointment of Kylie Rogers to the role of National Sales Director.

Kylie joins the company from the Ten Network where she worked for 17 years, most recently as National Head of Generate, and prior to that as National Sales Director.

Jason Lavigne said: “We are thrilled that Kylie is joining us in this key role, it’s a real coup for us. Her experience and reputation in market are peerless, and her innate understanding of effectively connecting audiences with brands makes her a perfect fit for our rapidly growing content focused media business.”

As National Sales Director, Kylie will oversee all of the Mamamia Network’s websites; women’s general news and opinion site Mamamia.com.au, parenting site iVillage.com.au and the newly launched beauty and health site, theglow.com.au.

Together, they reach 250,000 women each day, and 2-3 million women per month according to the most recent analytics data.

Kylie Rogers said: “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the most dynamic digital publisher in Australia. With the undisputed growth and influence of digital media, Mamamia are leading the way when it comes to engaging with women and leveraging that engagement for clients.”

The company has also announced a number of other senior appointments:

Maree Marasco has joined the Melbourne sales team, and brings her very considerable senior brand partnership expertise across from NewsLifeMedia.

Courtney Beck (Digital and Social Creative Strategist) and Daniel Baldock (Strategy and Insights) have joined the business in Sydney from The Works, and bolster the team’s expertise in solving complex client marketing challenges with high impact creative executions, when communicating with Australian women.

Jason Lavigne said: “We understand what women do online, why they do it, and how to genuinely connect brands with women. We are a digital native women’s-only media company, it’s all we do, and we do it better than anyone else in Australia. This is evidenced by our ability to reach 250,000 women each day, around 3 million each month, but even more significantly that our engagement numbers are consistently 4- 5 times those of our closest competitors.

It’s a time of considerable growth for us at Mamamia and we will continue to hire the very best talent into the business. We’ve built a hard earned reputation in market as a challenger brand that delivers every time on what we promise, to clients, media agencies, and our readers, and the unmatched talent we have in the company is the foundation of how we’ve become Australia’s leading digital publisher for women.”
