Uniqlo Baggy Jeans, $59.90.

Image: Supplied.

"These jeans became a staple so quickly that I forgot why I avoided them for so long. The wash is a super cute shade of light blue (there are other options too) and the fit is flattering for those of us with long torsos. These jeans solved all my problems - nothing else to note!" - Jaslyn Berg, Brand Partnerships Executive.

Anna Quan Ana Dress, $350 (in Malt).

Image: Supplied.

"I bought this dress in a big sale as my anti-seasonal-depression-dopamine-dressing-dress. It’s my first knit dress and it’s so easy to wear, even in the bold colour. It’s warm enough without being hot, and not too bulky that you can’t add a coat. I’m now looking for more colour options to make this my winter uniform." - Susannah Makin, Junior Producer and Community Manager (Mamamia Out Loud).

Reebok Performance Nano X3, $200.

Image: Supplied.

"My partner and close friends are all massive gym junkies (me, not so much), and they've been raving about Reebok Nanos for training for years. I was kindly gifted a pair recently and now get the hype. Basically, they work for everything - weights, HIIT, running - are comfortable, and look good. I've been wearing them for all forms of fitness since they arrived." - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

Lululemon Scuba Oversized Funnel Neck Half Zip, $139.

Image: Supplied.

"I bought this jumper on Saturday and have worn it every day since. It's so comfy, the perfect amount of oversized, the zip with the funnel neck gives you more control of how cosy you want to be, and the best part - thumb holes in the sleeves. I'm waiting for the white to come back in stock so I can purchase." - Talia Phillips, Strategy Manager.

Under Armour Women's UA Meridian Ultra High Rise Full-Length Leggings, $90, and Women's UA Branded Logo Crop Short Sleeve, $40.

Image: Supplied.

"I was very kindly gifted these tights and top from Under Armour - and goodness. Everything is so soft! Comfy! I've been in a workout slump as of late, but this gear actually makes me want to get back into it. New activewear really does fix EVERYTHING." - Erin Docherty, Senior Health and Beauty Writer.

Cotton On Drop Shoulder Trench Coat, $129.99.

Image: Cotton On.

I bought this trench to see me through this in-between weather before I need something warmer." - Polly Taylor, Commissioning Editor.

Something 4 Olivia Drew Blazer, $139.99.

Image: Supplied.

"I’ve been living in my new Something 4 Olivia blazer (via The Iconic or Curve Project) - it’s so comfortable and instantly makes me feel put together. I think I might need to buy the matching pants." - Laura Brodnik, Head of Entertainment.

Estelle Arabella Lace Top, $189.

Image: The Iconic.

"And I just bought this black lace Estelle top. I can wear it to the office with a singlet underneath or a blazer, and with a black bra out at night… maybe." - Laura Brodnik, Head of Entertainment.

Bohemian Traders Oversized Shirt in Mid Blue, $249.95.

Image: Bohemian Traders.

"Also, I literally just opened this oversized denim shirt that I bought because I needed some more casual winter clothes. It’s super comfortable." - Laura Brodnik, Head of Entertainment.

Paris & I V Neck Tank, $79.99, and Classic Leggings, $109.99.

Image: Supplied.

"I was gifted this cute and very comfy blue set from Paris & I. They are two Aussie women - Paris and Sammi - who started an activewear business and their clothes are made in Australia! I love it and think their prices are super reasonable." - Laura Jackel, Family Writer.

Kmart Active Womens Sherpa Zip Through Jacket, $25.

Image: Supplied.

"My fleece was $25 from Kmart and is keeping me snug now the cooler weather has set in." - Laura Jackel, Family Writer.

Bassike Mohair Merino Boxy Knit, $580.

Image: Supplied.

"This knit. It's definitely an investment, but the quality is outstanding and the style won't date so I'll wear it for years. A tip for jumpers like this - wear a low cut tee under so you rarely have to wash it!" - Leigh Campbell, Executive Editor.

Summi Summi Collared V Dress, $189.

Image: Summi Summi.

"We're in that period where it's cold in the morning but warm around midday. This midi dress is perfect for that - gifted from the Australian brand Summi Summi, it features thick, knitted material and a cool cream stripe down the back, sans sleeves. All I have to do is chuck on a jacket if I get cold." - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

Glassons Relaxed Button Front Blazer, $79.99.

Image: Glassons.

"Very boring and practical but cool." - Talissa Bazaz, Executive Producer.

Sheike Gracie Top, $119.99.

"Also, wore this on the weekend and I have never gotten so many compliments." - Talissa Bazaz, Executive Producer.

Gorman Colourfield Jumper, on sale for $124.50 (in new season colour).

Image: Supplied.

"Picked up this cosy jumper in a Gorman sale in Tasmania! First Gorman I’ve owned as it’s always been out of my price bracket, but this comfy guy was $50 on sale and I’ve already worn it a bazillion times. So reckon I’m down to a dollar per wear by now." - Katie Stow, Deputy Editor.

Adidas Dublin City Sneakers, $190.

Image: Incu.

"I bought these and love them. They are so comfortable and give my mostly black wardrobe a hint of colour to break up my outfits. I also love the colour combination - not something I would usually go for, but feels fresh and goes with surprisingly a lot of things." - Andi Baulderstone, Strategy Manager.

Friends of Audrey Astrid Double Zip Cotton Cardigan, $299.

Image: Supplied.

"My most favourite jumper in my 2023 wardrobe. Although it's slightly oversized, it gives shape when zipped up and looks great with everything - especially jeans and a white tee. It also matches my Luv Lou sunnies perfectly!" - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

Saint Valentine Biarritz Mini Hoops Gold, $150.

Image: Saint Valentine.

"I like to wear simple plain hoops day-to-day but thought I my ears needed a little extra something, so I bought these earrings to add a subtle sparkle." - Bella Garrido, Social Media Executive.

Cariuma Green Canvas, $109.

"Also these shoes! They are so comfy and perfect for adding a pop of colour to my outfit. They are also sustainably and ethically made which I love." - Bella Garrido, Social Media Executive.

Being gifted something (and then posting positively about it) constitutes a different kind of positive "recommendation" than you'd make for something you actually paid for. Also, it's disingenuous to suggest that being given free merchandise is having "shopped" for it.
