Glee star tells 'insane' online trolls to leave pregnant women alone.

Former Glee star and soon to be mum, Naya Rivera has spoken about how mean people are to pregnant women on the internet, and how insane she thinks it is.

The 28-year-old (who’s in her third trimester of pregnancy) has had her fair share of online shaming, but she’s learning to deal with it.

Rivera told Yahoo! Style, “I just keep in mind that I’ve never met these people, and they’ve never had the privilege of meeting me, so they’re, like, strangers as far as I’m concerned. So you can’t really take what they say to heart.”

The actress, who announced her pregnancy in late February this year said that your body changes a lot - physically - when you're pregnant. Admitting the changes it's gone through are ones no one could've warned her about.

"But being in the public eye when you’re pregnant is really, really hard, and people can be so mean on the Internet, it’s insane," she told Yahoo! Style.

The soon-to-mum went on to say that she believes pregnancy is a beautiful time and that all women should embrace their bodies at every stage.

"So it’s kind of hard being an actress, being a celebrity, and having people scrutinise how you physically look, and just saying the craziest things," she told the Style site.

Rivera posed for a nude pregnancy shoot with Yahoo! Style too - showing her pregnant body in its natural form - wearing just a fur shawl.

The photo (ironically) received some backlash from people who said that Rivera was a 'pot calling the kettle black'. These remarks came because Rivera had commented on Kim Kardashian's nude shoot in November last year.

It seemed she had commented on the above photo saying, "I normally don't. But...you're someone's mother..."

However, online trolls need to back away from the pregnant lady. From all pregnant women. Because pregnancy, and the female body is something to be celebrated and admired.

We're just glad Rivera came around and realised photographing the natural female form is something beautiful - whether you're a mother or not.

So let's stop with the snarky judgement and appreciate the beauty that is bringing a new life in to the world.
