She doesn’t move in for another week or so, but already the future First Lady of the United States is putting her stamp on the White House.
Melania Trump has reportedly made plans to overhaul one of the 16 rooms of the first family’s residence to create a space for the sole purpose of getting dolled up.
The Slovenian-born former model’s makeup artist, Nicole Bryl, told US Weekly, that there will “absolutely be a room for hair, makeup and wardrobe”.
“Melania wants a room with the most perfect lighting scenario, which will make our jobs as a creative team that much more efficient, since great lighting can make or break any look,” she said.
(Note to self: It’s not your face; it’s the lighting in the bathroom. Definitely the lighting.)

I saw an interview where she said she felt she was living a house with two boys. Her son and her husband.
How many tonnes of gilt will it take to bring it up to standard for the third Mrs. Trump? I wonder if the Trump's decorative obsession with gilt is so Donald fades into decor and Melania stands out?
