It’s not every day that someone from your high school marries an actual prince.
So when it happens, it’s a good reason to celebrate.
Students at Immaculate Heart high school in Los Angeles have celebrated the upcoming royal wedding of their world-famous alumni, Meghan Markle, by throwing an adorable pre-wedding party.
A news reporter at NBC LA captured students at 36-year-old Markle’s former Catholic all-girls high school, singing and performing a choreographed wedding dance.
You can check out the super cute dance tribute below.
In another video, some students are seen waving American flags as well as British flags while singing Best Day Of My Life. The party also featured tea and cakes, bunting and fascinators.
Meghan’s former teachers spoke of their pride and excitement at seeing the former student marry Prince Harry.
“I will be watching every moment of the royal wedding in real time”, the actress’ former teacher Maria Pollia told The Telegraph.
Markle is a member of the school’s class of 1999. On the school’s website, she was described as an empathetic student, who was chosen as a student leader in senior class. She also performed in the school’s theatrical productions.
The school will host a royal wedding viewing party starting at 3.30am Los Angeles local time on Saturday.
