The first photo of Megan Gale’s baby bump is here, folks!
Sharing an image pre workout on her Instagram page, the model wrote “Let’s work out shall we, little bun?”
Gale first announced the impending arrival of her second child on Thursday evening, and it was the most delicious celebrity baby announcement we’ve seen yet.
The Aussie model revealed she is expecting her second child with AFL player Shaun Hampson on Instagram on Thursday evening, with a nod to the ol’ ‘bun in the oven’ joke:
Mmmm… ciabatta.
“Not quite ready to take it out just yet. Should be fully baked come Spring time,” Gale captioned the shot, helpfully tagging the photo “bun”.
Gale and Hampson, who plays for Richmond, welcomed their first son, River, in May 2014.

I know someone who made an announcement like this on Facebook. It honestly made me wonder about the intelligence level of some of her friends - it was astonishing how many of them thought she was talking about baking!
When you don't have babies on the brain, or talk about them much, seeing bread in the oven is sometimes just seeing bread in the oven. May be a reflection of interests and life priorities than intelligence per se.
She included her due date - it said something like "done baking March 2016". It was really, really obviously not about baking.
Honestly, I have to think twice before I cotton onto some baby announcements - it's just not on my radar. My first thought would be "why are you stopping your baking next year? Are you moving or going somewhere in March?" :D The penny would drop soon after, but yeah, babies just aren't in my consciousness.
P.S ...but I really like food and baking!! :D
