WATCH: Mark Ruffalo is asked all of Scarlett Johansson's usual questions, the result is role reversal at its best.

Hilarity ensues as reporter asks Mark Ruffalo all of Scar Jo’s questions in a classic gender flip.

Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo got more than they bargained for in what should have been a regular press interview to promote their new film Avengers: Age of Ultron.

And it was really rather uplifting….

Instead of asking Johansson the standard questions about her weight and her red carpet outfits, the interviewer, from UK Cosmopolitan flipped it and pointed Sar Jo’s questions squarely at co-star Mark Ruffalo.

Ruffalo was questioned about his appearance, while Johnasson was able to talk about her character and her stunts on the film.

It turns out, that when someone is asked interesting questions, they give interesting answers. Who knew?!

Ruffalo was asked to embrace his feminine side by the interviewer, who said she decided to ask him the questions she’s most often seen directed at Johansson.

Did she wear underwear under the Black Widow costume? Was she on a special diet?

Ruffalo is also asked about the outfit he will wear on the red carpet in London that night (it’s a Burberry suit, FYI).

While Johansson is asked all about her stunts.

Quite the turn-around.

Ruffalo’s next question: did he feel pressure to slim down for his role?

Answer, predictably, is no, though he does say he has a “prison routine” that he did a lot before filming started.

He must wear an outfit, he says, that he calls the “man-cancelling leotard.”

Ruffalo was a good sport about the interviewer’s tactics.

In fact, when he and Johnasson were on the press tour for the last Avengers film, he actually pledged to answer any of the blatantly sexist questions that were directed at her.

Bravo team. That’s one way to ignite a generally standard and predictable interview.
