1. A Queensland Uber driver is kicking himself after his interaction with Margot Robbie last week.

Oh.

A Gold Coast Uber driver just turned down the opportunity to party with Margot Robbie.

Robert Bregnsdal told the Gold Coast Bulletin he drove the actress and her husband, Tom Ackerley Carrara, to Mermaid Beach this week.

Robert says he thought he recognised Robbie but assumed it wasn’t actually her because she was so “down to earth, normal, friendly and chatty”.

“After [the drive] she invited me to come to the house party,” he said.

“I said no ‘cause I was going to see Star Wars with the boys. And her husband kind of chuckled like ‘Ha ha, you don’t realise who we are’.”

Oh, Robert.

2. Why this Big Bang Theory star walked out of a mother’s group in tears.

Twelve years ago Mayim Bialik walked out of a mother’s group.

The Big Bang Theory star posted a video on social media explaining the experience left her in tears.

“When I was a new mom, 13 years ago, I went to a ‘mom’s group’ at a local retail store. I instantly felt out of place,” she said.

“I used cloth diapers. I didn’t use pacifiers or bottles. I didn’t have fancy clothes and neither did my baby. I didn’t have a manicure. I mean, I barely had time to shower. How was I gonna have time to get a manicure?”

Bialik said the women boasted about their childbirth experiences and everything was a competition between them.

“These were not my people. I left in tears. Moms are so competitive! Why is that? Is it because we’re just catty and combative by nature? Is it because we’re bored and we have nothing better to do?”

The actress thinks mums should be working together and supporting each other, not competing.

“Let’s get back to a model of camaraderie that reduces competition, fosters friendship and empathy and increases the success of a society that is built on the foundation principles of woman-to-woman support, which has sustained our species for so long, so well.”

3. Excuse us but an Australian psychic says Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won’t last.

Um.

Put away your fancy hats, an Australian psychic believes the union between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won’t last.

Appearing on Sunrise on Sunday, Kerrie Erwin said the royal couple would last five years tops.

“I do get [feelings of] a pregnancy for her next year. But actually I don’t think it’s going to last,” she said.

“I’d probably give it five years. I feel there is a lot of personal things going on between them because they’re two very strong individuals.

“Which is a sad thing. I wish them all the best. But it doesn’t look good.”

Good to know, good to know.

4. Kylie Jenner is conspicuously absent in the latest Kardashian family photo.

The case of the missing Kardashian just got weirder.

On Saturday, Kourtney posted a snap on Instagram. In the photo she was holding her daughter Penelope, and she was joined by her sisters Kim, Khloe, and Kendall. Mum Kris and niece North were also in the photo.

But there was one person who was notably absent… Where the heck is Kylie Jenner?

Although Kourtney caption the shot, “When you can’t find the rest of the family for the photo”, we have a sneaking suspicion that something else is going on here.

As Kylie was also absent from the Kardashian Christmas card we believe she’s either been abducted by aliens… or she is possibly, probably, most definitely pregnant.

5. Are these two Bachelor stars engaged?

Oh this is… exciting.

We could possibly have a Bachelor marriage.

On Sunday bachie alum, Noni Janur, posted a photo of her boyfriend fellow bachie alum, Sam Johnston, on her Insta stories.

In the pic Johnston was wearing a suspicious looking gold ring.

Not ‘wearing a duffle coat and hiding around corners’ suspicious but ‘wedding ring’ suspicious.

While fans believe the couple may have secretly tied the knot, Johnston is having no part of it.

“It’s just a ring that fits on that finger,” he told the Daily Mail.

“[I] wouldn’t worry about it until she’s wearing a ring.”
