Margot Robbie's husband has a secret Instagram account and it's refreshingly normal.

When it comes to the celebrity elite and Instagrams, they either don't have one at all, or they have a verified account.

Aussie actress and producer Margot Robbie had an official Instagram for a hot second, before she deleted it in 2021. However, her husband does have an undercover account.

Going by the handle @alpha_meows, Tom Ackerley runs a public but unverified Instagram account sharing behind-the-scenes views of his life.

Ackerley has used the platform since May 2012, posting his first photo of a little creek in a forest.

For the next few years he would post heavily filtered travel photographs, drunk shenanigans, a Thailand full moon party and sweet pics of his pets. Terribly normal stuff for a young lad in the UK.

Robbie and Ackerley met back in 2013 on the set of Suite Française, so the first post in relation to her is a photo of a 1940's German vehicle. The two became quick friends and soon flatmates.

Robbie was not featured on the grid for over a year, however he did post his ticket to see The Wolf of Wall Street, her big break. In March 2015, we see the first glimpse of Margot Robbie alongside friends followed by a snap of them on a night out and her on his shoulders. There's even one of him doing the Patrick Swayze Dirty Dancing lift with her. Aww.

As the quality of the snaps get better, so do Margot's appearances become more common.

He posted a photo of a new heart tattoo writing, "Missing me some Trouble," likely in reference to Robbie's role in Suicide Squad, later congratulating her on winning best actress for the role.

He shared, "Chuffed to bits for this talented troublemaker. Killing it."

The pair also attended a wedding together and adopted their dog Boo Radley.

Ackerley has managed to chronicle their life in the kind of low-key way we're sure many celebrities dream of, with cute couple posts dispersed between random holiday snaps, party pics and post-football celebration videos. Safe to say, it is quite the eclectic mix.

However, all good things must come to an end.

Ackerley hasn't posted on his iconic Instagram account since March 2021, echoing his wife's exit from the social media platform.

While we'll certainly miss the snaps of th pair's hilariously normal life, we'll be grateful we got any of them at all.
