A man is expected to face court today charged with attempted murder after another man was repeatedly stabbed on the Gold Coast.
Police say a 47-year-old was stabbed several times in the neck, chest and arms when he answered the door of his Southport apartment on Saturday afternoon.
He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers say a 24-year-old Booval man, who is known to the victim, has been charged with attempted murder and entering a home with intent.
He has been refused bail and is due to face the Ipswich Magistrates Court later today.
