I absolutely adore all things beauty - especially makeup and skincare – and lately these two loves have become intertwined because brands have started to bring out more and more products with skin-loving ingredients.

As someone who has dry and sensitive skin, I'm always looking for products that are going to help nourish and soothe, while still doing all of the other good stuff like camouflaging discolouration and imperfections.
So, here are seven of my favourite makeup products that are really good for your skin too!
1. Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation, $65.
Brand new to 2022, it’s a medium-coverage foundation infused with skincare ingredients that make your skin look better the more you wear it.
Star ingredients include hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate the skin, rose complex for dullness, dryness, pigmentation and dark circles, coconut extract for your skin barrier and Bix’Activ® which claims to visibly reduce shine and the appearance of pores, leaving the skin perfectly smooth.
I have shade one in 'Neutral'.
2. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, $47.
A personal long-time favourite of mine (I’ve gone through five tubes), this base product is absolutely perfect for dry, sensitive skin.
It’s a lightweight gel-cream formulated with 98 per cent naturally derived ingredients, mineral SPF30+ (titanium dioxide), squalene for all-day hydration, and leaves a radiant natural finish. I have shade 'Opal 01'.
3. Eye of Horus Skin Tint Serum, $75.
This highly anticipated launch and the first base product from Eye of Horus is a thin oil-based skin tint formulated with their signature blend of seven sacred healing oils: moringa, abyssinian, marula, nigella seed, hemp, pomegranate and baobab.
Perfect for quick everyday application when you just want to even out redness and get that extra bit of mineral SPF15 (on top of your usual SPF, of course).
This tint is fragrance-free and crafted in Byron Bay with mineral-rich properties, antioxidants, and vitamin C and E to reduce visible signs of aging.
It's available in 10 different shades and is suitable for all skin types. I have shade 'Lightest'.
4. Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush, $68
With luxurious, weighted packaging and a natural finish formula, the Baby Cheeks Blush soothes and protects your skin.
It is formulated with something called 'berryflux vita' to help firm and nourish as well as organic jojoba oil to provide moisture, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial benefits.
I absolutely love this blush and it’s clear why it’s such a best-seller. I have the shade 'Petal'.
5. Rose Inc Blush Divine Radiant Lip & Cheek Color, $43.
I can’t get enough of this blush lately because my skin just always looks good during and after wearing it.
It is formulated with pure, sustainable and 100 per cent plant-derived squalene to moisturise and hydrate, vitamin E to nourish and protect skin, sodium hyaluronate to smooth imperfections, and (my favourite) ceramides, that strengthen the skin’s natural protective barrier.
A serious overachiever.
The packaging is also refillable which is fantastic. I have shades 'Azalea' and 'Heliotrope'.
6. Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara, $104.
She’s expensive, but she is a mascara and lash growth serum in one. This mascara gives me that wow effect every time I wear it.
The growth-stimulating formula uses peptide technology to enhance the length and thickness of your natural lashes, rose oil conditions the lashes, and a combination of natural waxes works to volumise and plump but won’t weigh them down.
And no clumping – so worth it.
7. Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm, $54.
Juicy, sheer and hydrating, this luxurious liquid lip balm is made with organic jojoba, almond and argan oil blend to hydrate and soften, shea butter that nourishes and soothes and plant-based seed oil that imparts a pillowy sensation, leaving your lips looking and feeling beautiful.
It’s a gel-oil texture that isn’t sticky at all and is comfortable enough for everyday wear. I love the luxe weighted packaging and doe-foot applicator.
I have shade 'Nana' which is described as a cool beige, but I’d say it’s more of a cool light pink mauve (my perfect tone).
