That’s how Kim Kardashian ended up reclining on a pile of dirt in a Kanye-prescribed outfit of nude bodysuit with a bra over the top and thigh-high tights, in the grounds of a chateau in the Île-de-France region.
When one is undertaking a photoshoot in the idyllic French countryside, it’s important to ensure the subject is posed against the ugliest, least interesting backgrounds possible.
Think dirt, dry grass and wire fences.
And to faithfully document this artful composition, one must commission of the most respected photographers in the world.
Enter a short-shorts-clad Juergen Teller, who took the shots of Kim’s large pale bottom and heavily made-up face on a grey spring day in France.
The shoot was a collaboration with System magazine, which has printed the pictures into an “exclusive booklet presenting a portfolio of Juergen Teller’s photographs of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, taken over the spring at Château d’Ambleville in France”.
You can actually buy this book. Like, hand over hard-earned cash for pictures of Kim Kardashian lying on a pile of dirt wearing a skin-coloured leotard with a bra over the top.
