After an excruciating stay in hospital following a tragic accident, Kerri-Anne Kennerley’s husband John is preparing to come home.

In an emotional Instagram post today, Kerri-Anne detailed a trip back to their Woollahra home with wheelchair-bound John to test out his living arrangements for when he returns home in a couple of months.

The family have installed ramps to ease John’s movement around the house and make him as comfortable as possible on his return.

In an interview with Sunday Night, Kerri-Anne previously said that getting John home would be “the best thing since sliced bread” – and now, it’s looking like it’s really happening.

We couldn’t be more thrilled for Kerri Anne, John and their family.
