It’s official, Kate Middleton has landed herself a sparkly new job.
According to The Sunday Times, the Duchess will be the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, hosts of Wimbledon.
The Queen will step down from the position, which she has held for 64 years.
Kate is said to be crazy about tennis and a regular in the royal box during the Wimbledon Championships.
The Queen is reportedly offloading a number of her sporting related roles as she approaches her 90th birthday.

She will also be involved in her first ever solo interview in June to give the Queen her birthday wishes.

And while Kate is ruling in the world of tennis, it appears that Prince George is becoming a king in the classroom.
Four weeks into his schooling at the Westacre Montessori School, the two-year-old is said to have taken to school like a duck to water.
"It has been a very happy time for them as a family," a royal source explained to Hello!. "Prince George is settling in the nursery school very well. And the family is very grateful for the widespread goodwill they have received from around the world.”
It looks like a very busy and exciting time for the royal family.
