Oh.
Get excited.
The cocktails have been served, the drama is-a-brewin’, and three new potential Instagram stars love interests have just rocked up to paradise.
The three latest contestants to enter through the revolving sex door that is Bachelor in Paradise are Jarrod Woodgate, Megan Marx and Ali Oetjen.
You may remember Jarrod as the very intense red-faced man who was rejected by Sophie Monk in last year’s season of The Bachelorette.
Jarrod bought Sophie a pot plant and was determined to take her back to his vineyard and never let her go – but Sophie had other plans.
We debrief on all the biggest talking points from PARADISE this week. Post continues.
She chose Stu Laundy over Jarrod in the finale and then Jarrod spent approximately 38485945 minutes walking down a beach bawling his eyes out and talking about his feelings to some confused-looking crabs.
It was very uncomfortable for everyone involved, especially for the crabs who were just tryin’ to do a crab walk across the beach.
Anyhoo, there’s plenty more beaches for Jarrod to cry on in paradise.
Megan Marx first appeared on our screens during Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor back in 2016, and from the outset, she seemed like a favourite to win his heart.
That is, until she spectacularly turned him down mid rose-ceremony, telling Strahan she couldn’t accept his rose.
“From the moment I met you, I felt like you’re someone I could fall in love with… but I just can’t fall in love with such competition and intensity,” she said.
“This is about you finding someone you can fall in love with, and even though I think I could do that, I can’t do that like this.”
But just a few months after the show finished airing, Marx shared that she had found love – with her fellow contestant, Tiffany Scanlon.
After months of speculation, the pair finally confirmed they were an item in September 2016, but by the next March, they had split.
Since then Megan has been workin’ hard on her Instas.
Ali Oetjen is a bachie original who was one of the first to have a lil’ bit of a teary breakdown on the telly.
The then-27-year-old was the original favourite – the first bachelor/bachelorette that Australia backed to win and was shocked to see be rejected – when Tim Robards broke her heart in the first season of The Bachelor.
Coming second runner-up behind eventual winner Anna Heinrich (who’s now engaged to Tim) and runner-up Rochelle Emanuel-Smith, Ali took the dumping rather hard.
After the show though, Ali was approached to be Australia’s first Bachelorette, but turned it down because she was in a relationship.
Unfortunately, that romance didn’t work out either. Her engagement to David Waldeck was confirmed as over, when photos of her filming Bachelor in Paradise emerged late last year.
And now – cocktail in hand – she’s ready to stir some shit up find a new love in paradise.
