Janette's husband died in an accident. Four days later, she gave birth.

A grieving Queensland mother has given birth to her third child just days after her beloved husband died in a freak accident.

Janette Desi welcomed a baby son into the world on Thursday, four days after learning that her husband, Austin Desi, had died in a paragliding accident.

Now a Gold Coast photography business has shared its photos from the birthing shoot and as you can imagine, they’re incredibly bittersweet and touching.

“This is probably the most emotional photoshoot that I have done and will ever do,” Naturally Creative Photography posted on its Facebook page.

“I was honoured to capture the birth of this beautiful baby boy. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.”

The stunning photos show Janette, 32, bravely clutching her beautiful newborn son, with a wedding ring visible on a chain around her neck. Another particularly poignant shot shows Janette during labor, with two friends or midwives by her side in Austin’s absence.

The birthing shoot was donated to Janette by Naturally Creative Photography, which has also generously pledged to supply the mother-of-three with family photo shoots at no charge in the future.

Austin Desi's tragic death occurred at about 10am on Sunday, when he fell from his glider at the Archer Falls airstrip near Woodford after an apparent equipment malfunction. The 35-year-old auto-electrician died at the scene.

The loving father left behind not only Janette, but their three-year-old daughter Evelyn and an older son.

Janette has not spoken out publicly since the birth on Thursday, but previously described the difficulty of breaking the news to Evelyn that her daddy would not be coming home.

"We said to Evelyn daddy's got a new job. He puts all the clouds in the sky and sometimes they're smooth and sometimes they're bubbles," she told The Courier Mail.

"Evelyn replied 'Well Mum, you will be happy when he comes back down'.

"And I said he's not coming back down and that's why everyone's so sad. Daddy's out flying. And he's not coming home."

A crowdfunding campaign, which was set up to support Janette and children during this difficult time, has already raised more than $20,000.

"Janette and the kids need all the support they can get at the moment to help take the pressure off what is going to be the hardest year of her and her children's life," the crowdfunding page reads. "Any support you can show can help in really practical ways so Janette can focus on herself and her kids without the financial pressures of what is to come."

Meanwhile, Janette has paid tribute to her husband, who she describes as "inspiring" and loving.

“He was so exciting to be around,” she told The Courier Mail. “He was full of energy. He was inspiring and people loved him for it. I think he’d want to ­inspire people to go outside and ride a bike down a mountain and learn how to kitesurf.”

She added in a heartbreaking post on Facebook: "Everyone loved Austin. He had so much energy, spirit and so much love.

"I have some beautiful support to get me through this without him, but it isn't going to be easy, especially in the coming months."

A memorial service has been tentatively scheduled for Friday 27 May.
