Who is Jack Schlossberg? JFK's only grandson the internet has become obsessed with.

Take an heir to the most famous American dynasty and mix him with a golden retriever and you've got Jack Schlossberg: the internet's favourite weirdo right now.

Okay, okay, he's not all bad. He's actually oddly charming.

Jack is the only grandson of the former US President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in November 1963. He's inherited the handsome looks of his late uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., who became a New York society icon before he and his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy were killed in a plane crash in 1999.

The 31-year-old's mother is Caroline Kennedy, the only surviving child of JFK and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis — who also happens to be President Joe Biden's US Ambassador to Australia.

So Jack is basically an honorary Aussie, if you ask me. We would welcome him!

Jack himself has had an upbringing fit for any Kennedy: he studied at Yale University before going on to graduate from Harvard Law and Harvard Business School in 2022.

But more recently, Jack has become better known for his online presence: he's an avid user of Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, where he's drawn thousands of followers for his, err... content.

This content is difficult to describe. It's best just to show you what I mean.

Earlier this year, clips of the famous grandson starting doing the rounds, namely his version of 'Ticket to Ride' by the Beatles, performed with exquisite flair.

"Let’s go to a fancy restaurant in the middle of the day. How does that sound? We'll sit down in a chair for a couple hours and we'll wait. And we'll sit there and we'll wait. And we'll spend three hours there, but we'll eat our food in five and a half minutes," he rants.

"And then we won't really want to eat dinner. And then the entire day is ruined."

The man does make some solid points.

When he's not pondering the existence of restaurants, he simply posts shirtless photos of himself flexing.

Here he rips open a coconut with his bare hands. I don't know why! Go off, king!

Based on the wide variety of rogue videos and photos he posts, it's not surprising that Jack has become something of an enigma online. He rarely does interviews but he did do one with *checks notes* Town and Country Magazine, which was surprisingly insightful.

In the chat, he said he was writing a book, but he doesn't have a publisher for it yet. "My book is about my method and how I see the world," he said.

Jack then showed his hand in an unexpected way. He said that he considered his rising online presence to be a "huge, huge success" as he has "broken through to a younger audience. I think everyone's looking for a little bit of levity and humour here, and if it's all so serious all the time, it's just too heavy."

But there's a higher purpose to what he's doing: he wants to ensure Donald Trump doesn't become president again.

"My purpose has been, the entire time, to help people see how great President Biden has been, and to try to get young people to vote for him," he said. "That's incredibly important. I think this is the most important election of our lifetime."

In recent weeks, Jack's content on Instagram has pivoted towards more political messages, and his work with his staunchly Democratic family.

This man has played the long-game and it's actually... low-key genius. All rise for Jack Schlossberg!
