Hillary Rodham Clinton is set to become the Democratic nominee for President of the United States, the Associated Press claimed Monday night US time.
According to a delegate count conducted after Clinton won the Puerto Rico primary, Clinton now has the number of elected and super delegates required to secure her party’s nomination.
With primaries still to go in California, New Jersey and four other states, Clinton is expected to officially clinch the nomination on Tuesday night.
An historic milestone for women.

I'm not clear on why she's so bad. Can someone elaborate for me without saying, 'She's just playing the woman card!'
She's sneaky and could face indictment from the FBI. She put national security at risk and I don't think that she is the best choice at all for either the democratic nomination or the presidency. I don't think that she is at all trustworthy. I'm not going to support her just because she is a woman, Bernie is a much better choice and is who I would vote for.
As far as I can tell, Clinton is seen as very much part of the 'establishment' in American politics. She is not particularly progressive, and we would probably consider her fairly right wing. There have also been various accusations of corruption, but to be fair, any politician in the U.S will cop that.
Having said that, She is about a billion times better than Trump. She understands what policy is, and she understands political process. Trump is just pandering to the lowest common denominator.
I really do believe that a huge percentage of the hatred towards Clinton comes from good old misogyny.
