Despite the best of intentions, I just don’t have time to cook delicious and healthy dinners for my family. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t given up. I just keep making the same things over and over and over again…or ordering pizza.
But no more.
There are plenty of delicious dinners you can cook for your family that are faster and easier than you think. I have found quick and easy versions of meals I don’t normally have time to make. These dinner ideas for kids will save you so much time this week.
You’re welcome.
Monday: Cheat’s Chicken and Mushroom Stroganoff
Forget hours of chopping and simmering. This quick and easy Chicken Mushroom Stroganoff takes hardly any time at all and it is so delicious, healthy and simple.

Tuesday: Spicy Beef Stir Fry
Okay, so kids don’t like spicy, but what I love about this recipe is that you can cut down on the spices for kids and add more for adults. It’s so simple and the great thing about stir fry is you can add whatever vegetables you have left over in the fridge.

Wednesday: Prawns with Garlic and White Wine
My children will eat ANYTHING with prawns in it. I know, not all kids like them but once again you can substitute with chicken. Yum, yum, yum. Is there anything better than garlic and white wine sauce? On anything?

Thursday: Chicken Escalopes
This chicken dish is so crunchy and cheesy. They are simple and quick to make and go well with any side dish. Serve with lemon for some extra zest.

Friday: Grilled Lamb Kebabs
This lamb is perfect for any Friday night barbeque. The marinade adds so much flavour and who doesn’t love food on a stick? I always pull the meat off the stick for my children and put it in bread for them.
